The late legendary actor, Sunil Dutt was born to Diwan Raghunath Dutt and Kulwanti Devi Dutt on June 6, 1929, and had gone to become one of the greatest and most influential actors of all time in Indian cinema. From working in the radio station, Radio Ceylon, to getting his debut role in Ramesh Saigal's film, Railway Platform, Sunil Dutt's journey to success has inspired generations of actors. Sunil Dutt was married to one of the most stunning actresses of all-time, late Nargis Dutt, and together they had given birth to three adorable and successful kids, Sanjay Dutt, Namrata Dutt and Priya Dutt.

Sunil Dutt And Nargis Love Story

On May 25, 2022, Sanjay Dutt took to his Instagram handle and shared a picture with his father, late Sunil Dutt on his 17th death anniversary. In the picture, Sanjay can be seen sitting behind his father, as he looked away from the camera and looks dashing in a dark blue-coloured shirt. However, it was Sunil Dutt's evergreen smile towards the lens that caught our attention and took us back to the golden days when he was alive. Along with this priceless picture, the doting son penned an emotional note in the caption in which Sanjay called his dearest daddy, Sunil Dutt, 'the best father' in the world. His teary-eyed note can be read as:

"Through thick and thin, you were always there to guide and protect me. You were my strength, inspiration and support in every need... the best a son could ask for. You will always be in my heart Dad, I miss you!"

On Sunil Dutt's death anniversary, his doting daughter, Priya Dutt also shared a heart-melting post for her daddy on her Instagram handle. Priya shared a video comprising some unforgettable pictures of herself with her father. The video is indeed a tear-jerker, as it comprises some memorable photos of the father-daughter duo from the time, when Priya was a little kid. The emotional video also featured several pictures of her father, Sunil Dutt, with her mother, Nargis and her siblings, Sanjay Dutt and Namrata Dutt. Every frame spoke volumes about the bond they had as a family. Along with this priceless video, Priya penned a beautiful note in the caption, and it can be read as:

"It's been 17 years today May 25 2005. That year many changes happened in my life. I lost that one person who meant the world to me and that same year I experienced the joy of the birth of my son who means the world to me. For the unversed, it was on May 25, 2005, when Sunil Dutt had passed away due to a heart attack and had left for his heavenly abode forever. The tragic news about Sunil Dutt's demise had saddened the entire nation. Moreover, it was a turbulent moment for his son, Sanjay Dutt, whom his father had supported at every step of his life. The iconic actor was cremated at Santa Cruz Crematorium in Mumbai. After many years of his father's demise, in 2018, Sanjay had sat down in a conversation with IANS and had opened up about his late father and how influential he was in his life. Sanjay had said:

"Whatever I am today is because of my father. He is my inspiration and I miss him every day. I did not always share an easy relationship with him. But he always stood by me. I wish he was here to see me as a free man and the beautiful family that I have today. He would have been proud."
