Be it Karisma Kapoor’s to-die-for smile resemblance with her mother, Babita or Sara Ali Khan’s identical jawlines and eyes like her mom, Amrita Singh. Be it Navya Naveli Nanda’s bombshell-ness which she has got from her mom, Shweta Bachchan Nanda or the mother-daughter duo, Neetu Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni proving that nothing could be ever better than being natural. Be it Sonam Kapoor Ahuja looking exactly like her mommy, Sunita Kapoor on her wedding or Soha Ali Khan being the look-alike of her gracefully aged mom, Sharmila Tagore. Some Bollywood mother-daughter duos have proved that they can be pretty much called, twinsies! Gauri Khan and Suhana Khan too, fall into this category as they astound us with how eerily similar, they look. A mother is a constant inspiration for her daughter, and it would be an achievement for her if she fits into her mother’s shoes after growing up. Suhana too, has grown up to be beautifully working towards taking forward her star parents’ legacy and we can’t wait for the 19-year-old to make her Bollywood debut!
On September 19, 2019, Sanjay Kapoor’s wife, Maheep Kapoor went down the memory lane and decided to treat her fans with a ‘cherished’ picture depicting her long-lasting friendship. Sharing a picture of Charlie's Angels – Suhana Khan, Shanaya Kapoor and Ananya Panday along with their star mommies, Gauri Khan, Maheep Kapoor and Bhavana Pandey, the star-wife-cum-fashion stylist gave her post an apt caption, which could be read as “#TimeFlies”. For the uninitiated, Suhana Khan, Shanaya Kapoor and Ananya Panday refer to themselves as Charlie's Angels and from vacationing together, partying like there’s no tomorrow, hanging out with their families to chilling out with friends, the girls have been giving major friendship goals. What we couldn’t help but notice, is the uncanny resemblance between Gauri and Suhana, who had twinned in blue ensembles for the event.
A while back, Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s not-so-little-anymore princess, Suhana Khan had graduated from Ardingly College, London. During her course of studies there, Suhana had received an award for exceptional contribution to drama. Sharing the video, the proud mommy had written, "The Russel cup for exceptional contribution to drama." Post completing her studies in England, Suhana had got enrolled at NYU and capturing her daughter’s first day there, Gauri had written, "A glimpse of a college freshman day. #NYU." But Gauri had deleted the post later.
A few days before New Year 2019, Gauri Khan had treated the Khan-fans with postcard-worthy pictures with her kids, Aryan Khan, Suhana Khan and AbRam Khan. While Gauri, Aryan and Suhana had posed happily for the camera, the little one AbRam was distracted with a pizza slice in his hand! We had missed Shah Rukh in the frame to make it a perfect family photograph. Gauri had captioned it as “My three pet designs for 2019 @GkD”. She had captioned another picture of the brother-sister duo, Aryan and Suhana as “Zooming into 2019 at #GauriKhanDesigns. Seatbelts on please”. In a throwback interview, Shah Rukh Khan's wife, Gauri Khan was asked about the consequences if Suhana Khan happens to date a struggling actor and wishes to marry him. To this, Gauri had replied, “Shah Rukh would catch hold of him and make him sit and bore him to death. He would ask him so many questions and teach him how to act. He would get fed up and run away!" She had further shared, “For him losing his parents at such a young age, Shah Rukh wants to spoil them. He wants to give them everything. He spoils them rotten, I can't do anything. I just have to sit back and complain, like a complaint box."
In a 2018 interview with the Vogue, Suhana Khan had spoken about embracing fame since childhood. She had stated, “I realised quite early on that it was different for us. But I never really thought about my dad being famous. When I was about five, he would come and drop me to school, and people would point and stare. He wasn’t being addressed as Suhana’s dad, which is what I wanted. It confused me. He would want to hug me, and I would push him back in the car. I hated the attention, it made me very self-conscious.”
In an interview with the DNA, Shah Rukh Khan had spoken about his daughter, Suhana Khan’s interest in acting. He was quoted as saying, “Suhana wants to be an actress. I see that zeal in her. She’s extremely good on stage, I’ve seen her performances. She’s admittedly a cinema fan and wants to be in the industry. But my point is simple — you need to complete your education before doing anything. That’s the only thing I have told my children. Otherwise, they are free to be in the film industry, not be in it and do whatever they like. I will be supportive of whatever they want to do. While Aryan has now grown up and is more macho, he’s building his body and all, Suhana is more loving. I think she’s the softest person in the house. And AbRam is my little monster.” (Also Read: Raveena Tandon Becomes Nani, Announces The News With The Pictures Of Baby's Homecoming Ceremony)
