Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s princess, Suhana Khan and Chunky Panday and Bhavana Pandey’s angel, Ananya Panday have been BFFs since childhood. From vacationing together, partying like there’s no tomorrow, hanging out families to chilling out with friends, Suhana and Ananya along with Shanaya Kapoor (daughter of Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor) refer to themselves as Charlie's Angels.
A while back, Suhana Khan and Ananya Panday’s video from their night out emerged on the internet and is winning on social media. Suhana and Ananya looked super-stunning in black outfits as they grooved to Magic’s hit song, Rude. As the camera moved towards Suhana, she hid her face with her hands but Ananya made her dance like there is no tomorrow. Check out the video:
On July 10, 2019, Ananya Panday had taken to her social media handles to give us a glimpse of an ethereal photoshoot with her besties, Suhana Khan and Shanaya Kapoor. Can you guess who the photographer was? Suhana’s doting daddy, Shah Rukh Khan had captured the young starlets, who had posed like professional models for the camera. More than their black-and-white pictures, we loved Ananya’s caption which had their group name, “Charlie’s Angels #familyportrait @iamsrk”. Ananya’s mother, Bhavana Panday and Shanaya’s mother, Maheep Kapoor were all hearts for their daughters’ stunning photoshoot pictures.
Sometime back, after being brutally trolled and accused of lying about her admission to foreign universities, Ananya Panday had come up with an initiative called Digital Social Responsibility (DSR), which is to fight against online bullying. Her BFF, Suhana Khan had stood with her as a pillar of strength in those tough times and according to a report, she had also lent her support by shooting a video for the initiative, So Positive. While Ananya Panday has already stepped into the industry with Student Of The Year 2, fans have been eagerly waiting for her bestie, Suhana Khan’s debut. In an interview to Zoom TV, Ananya, who had earlier praised Suhana for her acting skills, spilt some beans on when is her bestie going to make a debut. "Whenever she wants to. She is actually going to the film school now, she is going to NYC to study. So, I think she wants to finish her education and make the most of that and then whenever she wants to she will come back and act. She is really really talented, and I can't just wait."
In an interview with The Indian Express, Ananya Panday was asked if she and Suhana Khan exchange notes on acting. To which, the 20-year-old star had said, "Suhana and I did a lot of plays together in school. I think she is such a good actor. I have learned so much from her. She is so good. So, I did not give her any tips. Just taking tips from her."
Speaking about how the girls have been with each other through thick and thin since their childhood, Ananya Panday had stated, “When we were young, during our family gatherings, we would put together shows and perform in front of our parents. Shah Rukh sir would record us on a Handycam, and we would make short films out of them.” Sharing that Shah Rukh was one of her first mentors, Ananya had continued, "We have done some really weird things. Shahrukh sir always used to encourage us and do photo shoots with us. He would take our videos and make us feel like we are the best actors. He would show them to everyone and say, 'Look what they did'."
Reminiscing how a scene of her and Suhana Khan was deleted by Karan Johar from My Name Is Khan, Ananya Panday had recalled, "I actually remember the time when I went on a set with Suhana when Shah Rukh sir was shooting for My Name is Khan. Suhana and I went to visit him on set when he was in America. They were shooting some scene, and Karan (Johar) needed some people to walk around in the background. So, he asked (us) to just walk around and we were like 12 or something and we got so excited."
Admitting that she and Suhana Khan were quite upset about not making it to the final cut of the film, Ananya Panday had further remarked, "I wore this pink jacket and I was so excited. They took some 7-8 takes and in every take both of us did this like walking and overacting. When we watched the film and we were waiting for our scene to come, which is when we realised that it was cut from the movie. We were so upset but that’s one memory I have from my sets."
