Former Indian cricketer and Bigg Boss 12 finalist, Sreesanth has been the talk of the town for quite some time now. His tantrums and clever gameplay on the famous provocative show made him reign the news for a long time. He didn’t make it to the trophy but was the first runner up. Nonetheless, he garnered a lot of love by his fans all throughout his tenure of the show. Topping it all was his relationship with Sasural Simar Ka fame and show’s winner, Dipika Kakar, to whom he considered his sister.
The ones who followed season 12 of Bigg Boss would know how strong this bhai-behen ki jodi turned out to be. Dipika and Sreesanth were always seen by each other’s side and their strong bond was appreciated by all. But now it seems that all is not well between the two. The reason why we are saying so is because Sreesanth has unfollowed his sister Dipika on Instagram. Talking about the same, Sree himself has recently opened up about the same and confirmed unfollowing Dipika. Not just this, he also revealed the reason behind the act.
Sreesanth told India Forums, "Yes, I have unfollowed Dipika because she unfollowed my Wife (Bhuvneshwari Kumari). And the one who doesn't respect my wife will not be respected by me. My wife is my Shakti and support. Dipika's fans used to abuse my wife and kids, she should have told them not to do that, but she didn't." Adding further, he went on to say, "Like how I told my Sreefam not to abuse her and they stopped. Dipika will be my sister because I respect that relationship, but I won't discuss this with her. I am sharing this with you, so that, people know the actual reason behind unfollowing Dipika”.
For the ones who don’t know, Sreesanth’s wife, Bhuvneshwari has been an open critic of all those contestants of the show who went against him. At that time, Bhuvneshwari took to her official social media to express her strong-worded opinion about the housemates. Bhvneshwari stated, “Jab unhone Sree ka naam liya elimination ke liye, to wo definitely wo jo reason unhone dia wo bahut convincing nahi laga. So, it was very shocking for me. Bigg Boss ne bahut clearly bola tha apke hisaab se kis insaan ka yogdaan abhi tak sabse kam raha hai. Naaki ye bola tha k ikon ghar jana chahta hai aura ap uska naam lijiye. Agar aap ye dhyan m rakhte hain ki Sree ne bola ghar jana hai to apko ye bhi dhyan rakhna chahiye tha ki Sree ne bola main finale mein apke opposite rahunga.”
Not just this, even after Dipika’s win, Bhuvneshwari credited that to Sree and was quoted as saying, "I am not someone who decides that is up to Dipika to decide who she wanted to give credit to and definitely she won it was public who voted for her. But I will not give Sreesanth credit, but I would say yes she wasn't seen without Sree. I am not talking as a wife but as a viewer. Initial 10 episodes she didn't had many contributions but later on, she did too pretty well. I would not say that the credit of her victory goes to Sreesanth”.
She herself took to social media and wrote, "My Dear #SreeFam please don't be disheartened. We did our best. And you all are my family and will always remain. Sreesanth is a gem of a person and he proved again. Today again he proves his selflessness by saying he'll be happier if Deepika wins. So please be proud of yourself (sic)." Also, Sreesanth’s Ronita Krishna Sharma took to Twitter and wrote, "What’s d point of winning a show where u have not won d heart of ur audience? What is d point of Doing a show when u already know you are favoured! @ms_dipika is the worst performer, most unloved and most undeserving. Wondering how this fake win is even overwhelming #WorstWinnerDipika."
