Lock upp contestant, Payal Rohatgi is all set to take the plunge with her longtime wrestler-boyfriend, Sangram Singh on July 9, 2022. The madly-in-love couple had been engaged to each other since 2011, and recently on one of the episodes of the show, Lock Upp, we had witnessed Payal and Sangram’s cute PDAs. The doting fiance had gone inside the Lock Upp house and had adorably bent down on his knees to propose to his ladylove, Payal for marriage on national television.
Now, as the couple are prepping for their traditional wedding in Uttrakhand, a recent video of their mushy romance went viral on the internet, and the glimpses are too cute to be missed. For the unversed, the couple had announced their marriage news in a fun way. They had taken to their respective social media handles and had shared a poster, in which Sangrama and Payal were seen posing in boxing postures. Alongside the picture, they had penned:
“Save the date, coming this July.”

On June 4, 2022, while scrolling through our Instagram feed, we stumbled upon a video shared by the ETimes, in which Sangram and Payal are seen adorably filming a music video for their pre-wedding. The much-in-love couple was seen lost in each other’s embrace while flaunting their smooth dance moves. In the first footage, Payal looked stunning in a rani pink-hued Indo-western dress. She styled a bralette which was adorned with mirror work, and paired it with a pleated skirt. On the other hand, Sangram looked dapper in a navy blue-coloured kurta-pyjama. The following footage showed Sangram and Payal having a fun time amidst nature. While Sangram wore a maroon pant-suit, Payal looked pretty in a strapless blue gown. Check out!
Earlier in an old interview with the ETimes, the would-be bride, Payal Rohatgi had recalled the time when both her and Sangram’s family had given up their hopes about the couple’s marriage. In her words:
"There was a time when our families had given up on us. But we realise that our parents are old and we have to do things to make them happy. His mother’s dream is to see Sangram married."

Earlier, in a conversation with the same media portal, Payal was quizzed if she likes stronger men. To this, Payal had stated that it was not about ‘sex’ but the warm bond that they share. She also talked about her equation with Sangram’s mother and sister. Payal could be quoted as saying:
“It's not sex, it's the thought that Sangram is around. When he's in the house, I sleep quickly and soundly. I have never felt that way. His sister has loved the way I am. Lekin haan ek baat hai. His mother could not accept that Sangram works at home, bartan uthata hai, chai banata hai. Apart from that, she's fond of me."
