Sonakshi Sinha is one of the most-popular faces in Bollywood. Daughter of yesteryear actor, Shatrughan Sinha, Sonakshi had made her debut in the 2010-released film, Dabangg, opposite Salman Khan. Known for her bubbly personality and gorgeous looks, Sonakshi has carved a name for herself in the film industry. Some of her most impressionable films include Dabangg, Lootera, Rowdy Rathore, Kalank, Akira, Mission Mangal among others.
In a recent interaction with Mashable India, Sonakshi Sinha went down the memory lane and opened up on some salient highlights of her film career so far. She recalled how during the initial phase of her career, she worked as a volunteer from her college for a fashion week and earned her first salary of Rs. 3000. However, she mentioned that during her work, she bumped into Salman Khan, who was quite curious if she got paid or not. When Sonakshi mentioned her salary, Salman had demanded a gift from her. Elaborating more on it, Sonakshi said:
“My first job as a volunteer from college, my salary was Rs 3000 for those five days of fashion week and I was an usher. Salman asked, what are you doing here? He asked, you’re getting paid or no? I said, yes. He said, how much? I said, Rs 3000. He started laughing at me and said, buy me a gift. To date I haven’t given him a gift because I was like what do I give Salman Khan in Rs 3000.”

Well, there was a time during the release of their film, Dabangg and subsequently, Dabangg 2, when the lead pairs, Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha were said to be in a relationship with one another. However, these were nothing but baseless rumours, and were long since forgotten. However, sometime back, a picture of the duo had created a stir on the internet, where they could be seen exchanging rings in a ceremony. But, it was nothing but a photoshopped picture, whose original one featured the Tollywood couple, Sayyesha Saigal her husband. Arya.

Fast forward to today, Sonakshi Sinha is speculated to be dating her co-actor, Zaheer Iqbal. While both of them have remained tight-lipped about it, they are frequently spotted together, and their banter for one another on social media is simply unmissable. However, reacting to all the buzz, Sonakshi had once dropped a clip of herself on her social media handle, where she indirectly slammed shut all the rumours about her dating life. In the clip, the diva could be seen enacting the dialogue, Acha lagta hai mujhe, bahut maja aata hai. Atop the clip, Sonakshi wittily penned:
“Me to the media: Kyo haath dho kar meri shaadi karwana chahte ho? Le media."
