Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been hitting the headlines ever since Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal accused Asit Modi of sexual harassment. For a long time, the actress has been making some startling revelations about the show. Not only Jennifer, Monika Bhadoriya too made some shocking claims against the show and the producer. Recently, Mumbai police have lodged an FIR against the producer of the show, Asit Kumarr Modi, Sohail Rahmani, and Jatin Bajaj, after running an investigation against the three biggies of the popular sitcom. Now, amid facing the heat from the judiciary system, Sohail Rahmani, the operations head of TMKOC, in an interview, opened up about the same.
In a recent interview with the Hindustan Times, Sohail Rahmani hit back at Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal. He questioned why Jennifer came back to join TMKOC in 2016 if she had so many problems with them as nobody had forced her to do so. Speaking about the same, the operations head mentioned that Jennifer messaged Asit and asked for another chance. Sohail stated:
"If Jennifer had so many problems with the show and the producer, why did she come back and join us in 2016. Nobody had forced her. Why did she message Asit bhai ki, ‘Main sudhar gayi hoon, sir mujhe ek mauka do’. So, I am unable to understand her issues."

In the same interview, Sohail Rahmani then shared that he could not just understand, why Jennifer, who was once his friend, dragged his name into this too. Further in the interview, he added that he was just doing his job, and as per the company protocol, he did what he had to do. Sohail revealed that it was Jennifer who misbehaved. In the same interview, Rahmani then stated that if there's something that affects the smooth functioning of a particular show, the production team will speak out. Elaborating more on the same, Sohail mentioned:
"I don’t understand what grudge she holds against me. I was only doing my job. As part of the company protocol, I did what I had to when she left the set for personal reasons without informing. She even misbehaved. If you work for a company, there are certain rules that you need to follow. If you’ll come late or do things that affect smooth functioning, the production team will speak out."
Further in the interview, Sohail Rahmani said that they didn't even scold Jennifer. Instead, they talked to her politely, but when it got repetitive, then they started raising their voice. The operations head then called all of those nothing but a publicity stunt. Sohail said:
"Humne toh daanta bhi nahi. Sirf pyaar se samjhaaya tha. Jab repetitive hone laga, toh humne daanta. So, all this is nothing but a publicity stunt.”

When the news of Mumbai police lodging an FIR against Asit Modi, Sohail Ramani, and Jatin Bajaj started doing rounds on the internet, Jennifer Mistry was quick to react to the same. In an interview with Pinkvilla, the actress stated that she was called by the police station, and after 5 hours of conversation, the FIR was lodged. Further in the interview, the actress mentioned that she is relieved as action has been taken against the team of TMKOC. The actress then mentioned that she is not happy with how everything is unfolding but stated that maybe that is what God has written for them.
