We all know that Taimur Ali Khan is a social media star and so is her sister, Sara Ali Khan who recently made her debut in Kedarnath. And do we need to say anything about Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, when it comes to stardom?
The Pataudis enjoyed an awesome dinner night hosted by Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan on the night of May 27, 2019. Sara Ali Khan along with her brother- Ibrahim Khan, Sharmila Tagore with her beti- Soha Ali Khan attended the dinner hosted by Saif and Kareena. Pictures from 2 days earlier had gone viral on social media, and guess what? Soha Ali Khan has shared an unseen picture from the dinner night of the Pataudis and adorably captioned it as, "Like the branches of a tree #family #familygoals #missingafew @saraalikhan95". In the picture-perfect, we can spot- hosts- Saif and Kareena along with their son- Taimur, Sharmila ji, Soha and siblings- Sara and Ibrahim. Sara Ali Khan is Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's daughter. Recently, on Koffee with Karan, Sara had talked about her father, Saif. The Pataudi princess had candidly stated, “For him, taking a step like Sacred Games is so admirable. He doesn’t care about what people have to say. He’s just out there to do his work to the best of his abilities. He and I would agree that he’s doing his finest acting now.” Sara had further added, “He’s always just a phone call away… I am very thankful to Kareena [Kapoor Khan] because she makes my father happy.”
Sara Ali Khan had also spoken about the similarities between her and her father, Saif and the chote nawab- Taimur Ali Khan! The actress was quoted as saying, “He’s a lot like me—we’re both readers, we both like history, we’re both travellers. He is 25 years older than me, which isn’t a lot. I am right in between the age gap of Taimur [Ali Khan] and my father.” She had also added, “To be honest, I don’t get to see Taimur very often but every time I do he’s a bundle of happiness. When Taimur is happy, the whole room is happy. In an interview with the Mumbai Mirror, stepmom, Kareena Kapoor Khan had spoken about Sara Ali Khan, “Sara is a rare combination of beauty and brains and that has happened to the Indian film industry after a long time. She can hold a conversation with anyone and at the same time give a shot in which she’s looking absolutely gorgeous. She has all it takes and I think she will be one of the brightest stars on the screen. I can only hope and pray for the best for her.”
In one of her previous interviews, Kareena had got candid about her relationship with stepdaughter, Sara. The Veere Di Wedding star had revealed, “We're like best friends. Saif refuses to come out with us. She's my bar hopping partner. I enjoy my equation with her." She further stated, "It's pretty amazing, they have a wonderful mother. They are the most well-brought-up children. I always remember Sara standing up and doing adab. Both Sara and Ibrahim are like that. I am like a friend for them. At times me and Sara chat over a glass of champagne. That's the way Saif wanted and that's the way I wanted it. Whenever she wants to call me she does at time when Saif isn't around and she doesn't want to talk to him. She talks to me.”
The eldest Pataudi member, Sharmila Tagore had spoken about her granddaughter, Sara Ali Khan's debut film. The proud granny had stated, “Yes, I am so excited about her debut (in the film Kedarnath). I am very impressed by her... though I don’t see why her self confidence should surprise me. But whether it was Koffee With Karan, Rajeev Masand, BBC - her confidence, humility and charm made me so happy.It’s so heartwarming to see her the way she has turned out. When asked what she’s doing in films after going to Columbia University she said the education was for her growth as a person and not for career. She’s never tongue-tied. And how well she stood up for her father on Karan Johar’s show. I am really proud of her.”
Sharmila ji had also shared how does it feel to be around her grandkids, Taimur Ali Khan and Inaaya Naumi Kemmu. The veteran actress had said, “Yes, it certainly adds to my happiness, obviously. I do see them as much as I can. But not enough because we live in different cities. But I must say they re-energize me. There’s nothing like young children’s energy …They are always curious and enthusiastic about many different things. So yes, being around Taimur and Inaaya makes me really happy.
