On October 10, 2019, we got to witness one of the rarest moments when the gorgeous Pataudi ladies walked the ramp together at Lotus Fashion Week 2019. Soha took to her Instagram and shared pictures from the event. Along with it, she wrote, "Was so happy to walk the ramp with my mother after so many years in support of the beautiful weave from Assam crafted by @sanjukta_dutta. Her collection AAKAASH was a tribute to the environment and the handloom industry and it was really a beautiful collection. Thank you @maximus_films for managing the event."
It was a treat to see Soha and her mother, Sharmila ji walk on the ramp wearing handloom ensembles by designer, Sanjukta Dutta. While Soha wore a fusion dark blue lehenga with a statement neckpiece, her mother, Sharmila ji opted for a contrasting blue saree. Take a look at the picture and video below:
In an interview with the DNA, Sharmila ji had revealed how she often gives advice to her daughter, Soha, on motherhood. She had shared, "Of course I do, as all mothers would. Like my mother used to do when I was carrying Saif. I remember when Saif was a baby, the paediatrician had recommended that we give him orange juice to drink, but my mother said he was too​ small to be able to digest it and that I should dilute it with some water. I didn’t listen and Saif had a tummy-ache. I guess mothers do sometimes know best and it’s also the experience that counts. Yes, Soha does call me to ask for advice on what to do and I do advise her, but I also tell her to follow it up only after checking with the physician." Currently, Soha is in a happy place as she is busy nurturing her little angel, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu. In an interview with the Filmfare magazine, the actress had talked about holding her baby for the first time, and had said, "When you undergo scans, you’re aware someone is inside you. You see the baby taking form. But nothing prepares you for the joy you experience when you first hold your newborn in your arms. You’ve created a life and all this has happened without any laboratory or engineering. It’s just Kunal (Kemmu) and me and then this person comes out with 10 fingers, 10 toes, a perfect human being!"
