On October 8, 2020, television actress, Smriti Khanna took to her Instagram handle and shared an adorable, hilarious, and a quite relatable picture with her hubby, Gautam Gupta from their new sleeping positions after the birth of their little princess, Anayka Gupta. In the picture, while we can see Smriti sleeping with her head placed on the shoulder of her hubby, it's the doting father, who holds Anayka while sleeping. The doting mother, Smriti Khanna had touched the topic of postpartum depression in an interview with The Times of India. To begin with, she had emphasised on the importance of educating woman on breastfeeding, pregnancy and postpartum depression, as the latter is a big deal, yet, not much spoken about. Smriti had said, "I have realised that even if you speak well on social media and educate people about pregnancy and mother, haters will still troll you. I felt that people did not discuss much pregnancy, weight issues, breastfeeding."
She had also spoken about the kind of encouragement and support she had received from her fans, not to mention how she doesn't care about trolls. She had said, "There are so many girls and mothers who have messaged me, saying thank you for making pregnancy look so smooth and nice. They tell me they were scared to get pregnant thinking that their body would look a certain way or they will completely go on bed rest, and now they feel that pregnancy can be a fun ride too. I feel there will be 10 percent people who will have problems with everything, but there will be 90 percent people who were giving blessings to me and my kind, which made me feel great."
