Add BollywoodShaadis on GoogleKetan Agarwal’s murder case keeps getting darker day-by-day. The family that was preparing to welcome a bahu is now mourning the death of their 26-year-old son, who was brutally killed by his own fiancee, Siya Goyal and her alleged boyfriend, Chetan Chaudhary. Now that an official investigation has begun and both Chetan and Siya have started blaming each other, the latter’s lawyer has come forward and defended the 20-year-girl by mentioning that there is no evidence or eyewitnesses against her.
Ketan Agarwal was pushed to death on June 18, 2026, by his to-be-wife, Siya Goyal. The two were enjoying a trek at Lohagad Fort, near Pune, when Siya and her boyfriend, Chetan decided to end Ketan’s chapter. However, the two were soon taken into custody. Amid that official investigation, Siya Goyal’s lawyer, Aashutosh Shrivastav, recently claimed there is no solid proof against the 20-year-old girl.

The advocate further mentions that anything that is said by the suspects during the custody cannot be treated as a proof. He also revealed that Siya Goyal cannot be considered to be the criminal if there is no proof or eyewitness against her. For those who do not know, Siya is the prime suspect in Ketan Agarwal’s case, due to her meeting with Chetan in the cafe, right before killing Ketan, which is captured in the CCTV footage and nearly 2000 calls that were exchanged between them.

A few days ago, Ketan Agarwal’s mother broke her silence on her son’s death and spoke about Siya Goyal. Reportedly, she claimed that Siya was an alcoholic. Addressing the claims, Siya Goyal’s lawyer shared that being an alcoholic isn’t a crime and it does not prove that she might have pushed her fiance, Ketan Agarwal off the cliff. The advocate also spoke about the emotional toll Siya’s family is facing, amid the murder case, including her father being admitted in the hospital after suffering a heart attack.

Recently, a police inspector named Dinesh Tayde shared details about Ketan's case and where the investigation stands, as of now. He revealed that the authorities have spoken to nearly 10 people, who were present at the Fort; however, many more people are left. He highlighted the importance of forensic reports and explained that multiple angles have to be taken care of. However, what grabbed attention was that he revealed that both Siya and Chetan admitted to pushing Ketan Agarwal towards his death. Ever since they admitted to their crime, they have been giving different statements, which is forcing the authorities to investigate the matter in detail.

Recently, reports claimed that Siya Goyal revealed the real reason behind not wanting to marry Ketan Agarwal. As per investigators, Siya stated that Ketan used to wear a wig and had stammering issues and the former was not fine with it. However, Ketan’s father slammed Siya’s statements and mentioned that she knew about the baldness. Ketan’s father also revealed that if Siya had any issue, she should have just said ‘no’ for the marriage rather than killing him.

Talking about Siya Goyal’s parents, they are completely devastated by Ketan Agarwal’s death. Even though they are unable to believe that their own daughter, Siya, tried to kill Ketan nearly three times, they also want the criminal to face the strictest punishment. Siya’s father, who is currently in the hospital after suffering a heart attack, said:
"Jisne yeh kia hai ussei sakt se sakt saza milei. Jaise hamara Ketan jiss kilei se gira hai, usmei jo bhi aaropi paya jaye, usmei bhalei meri khud ki beti kyu na ho, ussei bhi wahi se dhakka dia jaye."
