Siya Goyal's Mother Made Shocking Revelations About Daughter's Love Life, 'She Was Only 19...'

The Ketan Agarwal case has sent shockwaves across the nation. In a chilling revelation, the authorities who investigated his unnatural death shared that he became a victim of a conspiracy to kill. The 26-year-old Pune-based businessman was killed by Chetan Chaudhary, the lover of his fiancée, Siya Goyal, ahead of their wedding. What was initially reported on June 18, 2026, as an accidental 400-foot fall from Lohagad Fort was later exposed as a planned murder. Amid the ongoing investigation, Siya's parents made shocking revelations about her love life.

Siya Goyal was desirable even in her teens

In an interview with India Today, Siya's father, Praveen Goyal, revealed that his daughter received a marriage proposal from her late fiancé, Ketan Agarwal's side, when she was just 19. It suggests that Siya Goyal was desirable and considered a good fit to be a family's daughter-in-law, even in her teens. Praveen recalled someone approaching his brother at a wedding party in Goa and asking about Siya and her family. The person put forward a marriage proposal on behalf of Ketan's family; however, Siya's father promptly denied it as she was too young. Praveen stated:

"Someone asked my brother whose daughter she was. When they learnt she was my daughter, they asked if we would consider a marriage proposal. At that time, we declined because Siya was only 19 and we were in no hurry to get her married. My brother-in-law told them Siya was still young, but Aman Agarwal said both families could first complete the elder sibling's marriage and then move ahead with Siya's alliance."

Ketan Agarwal's uncle, Aman, insisted that Siya's family consider the marriage proposal and assured them that Ketan's family would not pressure them to marry immediately. Aman said that the Agarwals were a "respected family" and alliances with them should be welcomed. Siya's father, however, stalled the union, saying that he would discuss it with his wife first. His exact words were:

"He [Aman Agarwal] said Ketan came from a good family and asked us to consider the proposal...They told me it was a respected family and that such proposals do not come often. I told them I would first discuss it with my wife, Pooja, before taking a decision."

Siya Goyal's mother recalled the shocking lies her daughter told her about her love life

Siya Goyal's parents were not against their daughter's wedding to Ketan Agarwal; however, they needed to know Siya's opinion first. They made her wishes a priority, and her mother, Pooja Goyal, asked her more than 10 times whether she had consented to the marriage. As per Pooja, her daughter replied positively, and made a shocking remark that she was single and willing to marry Ketan. Siya lied to her mother about her lover, Chetan Babulal Chaudhary and said that she was not seeing anybody at the moment. Her mother recalled her saying that she liked Ketan Agarwal and mentioned:

"We asked Siya at least ten times whether she liked Ketan and wanted to marry him. Every single time she told us, 'Yes, I like Ketan. I want to marry him. I don't have a relationship with anyone else."

Beneath those countless lies, Siya Goyal was planning a dreadful crime. On June 18, 2026, she and her lover, Chetan carried out a premeditated murder of Ketan, striking him with an object and then throwing him from the top of Lohagad Fort. Ketan died on the spot, and after a few days of investigation, Siya and Chetan were arrested as prime suspects.
