Shweta Tiwari is 40 and has stunned the nation with her washboard abs. The actress is currently shooting in Cape Town for her upcoming reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi and every other day, she drops some major body goals. It was a few months ago, after fighting with COVID-19 that Shweta’s magical body transformation had surprised everyone. Now, the actress has shared that it was her daughter, Palak Tiwari, who had motivated her to get back in her fit shape.
Meerut based, Shweta Tiwari had come into our lives with her classic debut show, Kasauti Zindagii Kay. The actress is often in the headlines for her altercations with her estranged husband, Abhinav Kohli. Despite dealing with the lowest lows of life, Shweta’s kids, Palak Tiwari and Reyansh Kohli have become her strength to deal with whatever life throws at her. In a candid interview, Shweta Tiwari narrated how she had gained weight after the birth of her second child, Reyansh and how her daughter, Palak motivated her for a body transformation.
Shweta Tiwari has completely changed herself in the past few months and for good. The actress has worked not only on her body but also on her fashion sense with the help of her stylists, Victor Robinson and Sohail Mughal. In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Shweta Tiwari narrated her transformation journey from gaining weight post-delivery to flaunting her abs. Talking about her weight loss journey, Shweta said, “After my second delivery, I had put on a lot of weight. I was 73 at that point in time and when I got Hum Tum and Them, they wanted me to lose weight as they needed me to fit in a particular size.”
Shweta then recalled starting her fitness journey while managing her son, Reyansh, which led to her shoulder pain. She said, “So I started working hard to fit in that size. During that time I realised that I have shoulder pain. I had never lifted weights in my life so I didn’t have any muscle strength. So my shoulders started paining at that time. By the time Mere Dad Ki Dulhan came, my pain escalated and converted into a frozen shoulder. There were times while shooting or while taking care of my child the pain would affect me severely. I started using an arm cast while shooting. Then I started physiotherapy and it was then when I was told that I have no muscle strength so how would I handle it?”
Shweta shared that her daughter, Palak, motivated her to go for a transformer rather than a trainer. It was Palak, who had asked her to get back in shape as this is her mother’s business. Shweta added, “They told me to start training, go for pilates and weight workout to heal my shoulder. So I started weight training and that’s when I started liking it. I started feeling strong. Then my daughter said, ‘Dude this is your business, this is your career. You are not over yet. Hire a good trainer. Go get a good trainer. Pay money baby and get yourself fit.’ Then I said, ‘Yeah you are right.’ Palak also said, ‘Don’t go to a trainer, they want you to keep training all their life. They will not make your body, go to a transformer who can transform you in like few months’. That’s when I got hold of Prasad. I said, ‘I will pay you, dude. You just get me fit.'”
From gaining weight after delivering her child to getting back in shape and flaunting her washboard abs, Shweta’s transformation journey is truly inspiring!
