Becoming a mother is the most blissful feeling for a woman, but becoming a maasi is a different experience altogether! It was in 2003 when Kajol Devgan and Ajay Devgn had embraced parenthood with the arrival of their daughter, Nysa Devgan and seven years later, in 2010, the Devgan family was completed when the stork blessed the couple with their second child, Yug Devgan. The arrival of Nysa and Yug were not only life-changing moments for Kajol and Ajay, but for the entire Devgan and Mukerji families, including the little ones' maasi, Tanishaa Mukerji. Tanishaa never leaves a chance to express what her niece, Nysa and nephew, Yug mean in her life through special dedicated posts on her social media handle.
During the multiple lockdowns since 2020, everyone was forced to stay confined to their homes to stay safe from the novel Coronavirus and it had given them a lot of time to explore hobbies and brush up their skills. Due to the extended lockdown of May 2021, Tanishaa Mukerji has polished her skills of knitting and stitched a crochet crop top for her princess, Nysa Devgan. Going by the caption, it seems like Tanishaa stitched the beautiful pink and yellow crochet crop top for her 18-year-old niece, Nysa. Sharing the picture on her IG story, Tanishaa wrote, "Made this for my cutie 18-year-old! Having some crochet fun in this now extended lockdown."
It was on April 20, 2021, when Nysa Devgan turned 18 and her star family had taken to their respective social media profiles to wish their angel. Ajay Devgn had posted a smiling picture with his daughter and expressed how 'small joys' like this help in 'stressful times' like these. To wish Nysa on her 18th birthday, Ajay had tweeted, "Happy Birthday, dearest Nysa. Small joys like this are the only ‘break’ in stressful times like these. Also, a sincere prayer for all those who need healing."

Kajol Devgan had posted a throwback picture to wish her darling daughter, Nysa Devgan and expressed how nervous she was during the birth of her little one. Kajol had written, "I was so nervous when u were born. It was the biggest exam of my life and I had all those fears and feelings that go with it for a whole year at least. Then u turned 10 and I realised I was a teacher just part of the time most of the times I was a student learning new ways to do things and look at them. And now we come to today and I can finally say I passed with flying colours. U are what we all say women should be so fly high my darling and don’t tone down ur shine for anyone. I've got ur back! Happy adulthood. You have the tools so use your powers for good."
Tanishaa Mukerji had posted a series of pictures and a video, which beautifully reflected the relationship they share. Wishing her 'first baby' and the 'best gift' from Ajay and Kajol to her, Tanishaa had captioned her post as "Happy 18th birthday my darling lil butterfly. My fashionista my monkey my performer my gymnast my first baby! You were the best gift ur mom n dad gave me and I’ve seen u grow so beautifully I can’t wait to see u spread ur wings and fly! @nysadevgan ps (u can see that pink is our favourite colour)."
