The Bachchan family of Tinseltown has been grabbing a lot of attention lately, ever since rumours of a possible family feud between the members. According to reports, everything is allegedly not well between the power couple, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan, and the duo might decide to go their separate paths.
Moreover, there have been more speculations about Aishwarya not being on the same page as that of her in-laws, and that she has even left the Bachchan home, Jalsa. Well, it is quite crucial to note that there hasn’t been any official confirmation on the topic yet.
The news about Aishwarya Rai Bachchan not being in accord with her in-laws started when her nanad, Shweta Bachchan didn’t show up at the Paris Fashion Week this year, to cheer the former. On the contrary, she arrived at the same event to root for her daughter, Navya Naveli Nanda. Moreover, the fact that Amitabh Bachchan recently gifted his bungalow, Prateeksha to his daughter, Shweta, led to many believe that the family was prepping for the alimony settlement post the possible divorce of the Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan.

With all having said, there was a time when Shweta Bachchan once revealed the qualities about Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and highlighted the ones which she loved, hated and tolerated about the latter. During her stint in an earlier episode of Koffee With Karan 6. Shweta revealed that she loves how Aishwarya is a “self-made strong woman and a fantastic mother”. However, it was her responses on the things she hates and tolerates about her sister-in-law that grabbed the attention. Sharing her bit, Shweta said:
“I hate that she takes forever to return phone calls and messages. I tolerate her time management.”
During her stint in a previous season of Koffee With Karan right before the wedding of Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan, the latter’s mom, Jaya Bachchan had talked about the changing dimensions in the Bachchan household, once their bahu comes in. Moreover, the host, Karan Johar had asked Jaya if she would let Aishwarya take over the responsibilities of the home after marriage. In her response, Jaya had mentioned that she hopes Aishwarya takes up a lot of responsibilities. In her words:
“Hopefully. I am hoping that she will take a lot more than just ‘some.”

However, it was Shweta Bachchan, who accompanied her mother on the show, who gave an unmissable answer to the same. Dissuading her mother to thrust all the household burdens on their to-be-bahu, Aishwarya, Shweta had said:
“Don’t do that mom. It’s scary and intimidating. Slowly ease her into it. It’s not that hard.”
