And this has exactly happened with one of the most beautiful television damsels, Dipika Kakar and her handsome hunk, Shoaib Ibrahim. The lovebirds started having hots for each other while working together on Colors TV’s Sasural Simar Ka. No hurdles, no obstacle, be it their different religions or Dipika’s first failed marriage, nothing could hinder their love for each other.
It was on February 22, 2018, that Shoaib and Dipika solemnised their relationship into marriage as they said ‘Qubool Hai’ in a Nikah ceremony. Unlike many superstars, Dipika and Shoaib had a very desi style wedding that took place in Bhopal, which happens to be the latter’s hometown. Recently, Dipika took her official Instagram handle and shared a few lovely pictures with her dear hubby. Shoaib surprised her by paying a visit on the set of her new show, . Confirming Dipika Kakar’s conversion to Islam, in an interaction with the TOI, she had shared, “Joh sach hai woh hai (Truth is the truth). It's true I have done it, but why and when I have done it, don't think it needs to be talked about. I think it is a very personal matter and I don't think I need to talk about it openly in front of the media. For the audience and media, we are actors have always shared everything. All our happy moments we have shared with you all, but this I think is a very personal space and I don't give anyone the permission to enter the space. Definitely, it is true and I am not denying it. I am very happy and proud that I have done it for myself and my happiness. My family was with me in this decision and my intentions were to hurt anyone. In an interview sometime back with SpotboyE, the Qayamat Ki Raat actress had opened up about their family planning. When asked about babies, she had revealed, “It is so funny this Mother's Day I wished so many ladies and at least 90% of them have replied, ‘Waiting for you to join (laughs).’ I was like, ‘Excuse me, I just got married.’ But seriously for family planning, there is time… at least a year to go.” Further, revealing if she is taking a break from her career, the Sasural Simar Ka actress had quipped, “I am a complete home person. If Shoaib tells me someday that, ‘Beta aap aaram karo main hoon.’ I will say, ‘Ya, Ya please mujhe kaam nahi karna.’ I am more than happy being home.”
Do you know when Dipika and Shoaib had realised that they have fallen for each other? Well, it was when the latter had quit Sasural Simar Ka, she had kept in touch with him. Dipika had once stated, “When Shaoib quit SSK we still met and kept in touch, but when he went to Bhopal for a month and he was completely out of sight that's when we realized that it is love. The toughest part for me was when he left to shoot in Bikaner for 40 days in 2015 that was the most difficult phase. The same 40 days played an important role in bringing Dipika closer to my family. Sharing what has changed post-marriage with Shoaib, Dipika was once quoted as saying, “I can't put the feelings in words. I have noticed the change from the day I have got married. I initially thought it's ok Shoaib and I have been in a relationship for so long, but no things have changed. Maybe the way I look at him, the respect towards him has grown. It's a priceless feeling.”
