Popular television actor, Shoaib Ibrahim has been juggling work, hospital visits and daddy duties with his little one, Ruhaan, for the past month. The actor has been so busy with his commitments that he didn't get a moment to take care of his diet or health. As a result, he gained a few extra kilos, which led to his merciless trolling. For the unversed, Shoaib and his wife, Dipika Kakar hopped onto their parenting journey on June 21, 2023.
In his recent vlog, Shoaib Ibrahim opened up about how he gained weight after becoming a father to his baby boy, Ruhaan. Talking about the same, the actor revealed that it happened due to his irregular eating habits and schedule. But he added that now he has decided to slowly lose those extra kilos and get back into shape, as he himself feels a bit weird. Shoaib said:
"I have become so weird, right? After so many days, due to irregular eating, missing meals, managing between hospital, home and shoot. I ended up gaining a little weight, and so many things happened. From today, I have begun to follow the diet that I always do and will make sure that I lose that extra weight and get back in shape. Even I have been feeling weird, I gained a bit more than expected."

Further in the vlog, the actor also spoke about how his fans have been telling him about the weight gain on a regular basis. However, he clarified that when he stayed at the hospital for 20 days, he used to eat anything that was available in the hospital, which affected his shape. In his words:
"A lot of fans also texted me about how I have put on. But those 20 days in the hospital I barely got time to eat and whatever was available in the hospital I would eat so that has actually affected my shape but now I will strictly follow the regime."
Now that Shoaib and Dipika's baby boy, Ruhaan has turned one month old, his doting parents are enjoying every little moment with him. And finally, Shoaib has decided to hit the gym after a long gap, and he aims to make it a regular affair now. Adding that he would try to continue his diet and workout, Shoaib said:
"I am going to the gym after a long gap, in between I did try but I barely went once. Now, I am going to go regularly and I will try my best to continue my diet and workout. I have Ankit with me so he will keep pushing me to go to the gym regularly with him."

Taking to her IG handle, on July 22, 2023, Dipika Kakar dropped an adorable family photo, featuring her husband, Shoaib and their newborn, Ruhaan. In the photo, we could see Shoaib adorably holding his baby boy in his arms, while Dipika kissed her baby's teeny-tiny hand with love. The super cute family picture was simply heart-melting. Sharing the photo, Dipika wrote:
"RUHAAN. Thank you for keeping him in your prayers."
