Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is one of the longest-running Indian serials, and it is currently running its fourth generation. The tele series debuted on Star Networks on January 12, 2009, and has completed over four thousand episodes in the course of fifteen years. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is one of the highest-rated dramas on Indian television, and getting a chance to act in it is a lifetime opportunity. However, some failed to utilise this golden chance.
For the unversed, the show introduces new lead characters for every generation leap and did the same for the fourth generation. This time around, they introduced three main leads: Shehzada Dhami, Samridhi Shukla, and Pratiksha Honmukhe. In a recent turn of events, the show's producer, Rajan Shahi, terminated Shehzada and Pratiksha's contract for their unprofessional behaviour and asked them to leave the set in fifteen minutes.

The internet was abuzz as soon as news of Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe's termination came to the forefront. From that time itself, the show's ardent followers were inquiring about the real reason behind ousting them. Talking about the reasons, an insider reported to Star Station TV that Pratiksha was the main reason for the big decision. It so happened that a hospital scene was going on, and Pratiksha started laughing at it, so the assistant director asked her not to as it was causing difficulties in the shoot.
Pratiksha was miffed by this and left the set in an instant. She then locked herself in her makeup room and was soon joined by her rumoured beau, Shehzada Dhami. The duo then refused to shoot until and unless the assistant director was fired. They even added that they would not resume work until the staff was out of the set.

According to reports from India.com, Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe were in a relationship and would often spend time together in their vanity vans. This would hamper shoot timings as they would repeatedly miss call times and cause major losses to the production. Shehzada would also throw tantrums on the set and ask everyone to address him with respect, as he was the main lead.
