Popular actor, Sharad Malhotra has recently garnered a lot of limelight after some shocking reports about his personal life surfaced online. As per the reports doing rounds on the internet, it is stated that Sharad is going through a difficult phase in his life and is giving his marriage with Ripci Bhatia another chance. However, now the actor broke his silence on the speculations about troubles in his married life.
Now, Sharad Malhotra issued a statement in the media, revealing that the reports about his marriage hitting rock bottom hold no truth. The Naagin actor clarified that he and his wife, Ripci Bhatia, are happily married and have no problems. Quashing the rumours, Sharad shared that since there are no problems, so there is no point in giving their marriage a second chance. Addressing the same, he said:
“Ripci and I were approached by the publication last week regarding any turbulence in our marriage and I just did not find it worthy enough to even acknowledge or give a revert to the concerned publication. My PR team intervened to ask about the source to which they clearly refused."

Further in his statement, Sharad Malhotra shared that his and Ripci's families have been mentally harassed because of the false reports and demanded a public apology from the publication. Adding that he wants to know the name of the author who shared such news, the actor stated:
"A week late, a story is printed with baseless imaginary stories again quoting some 'source' from our inner circle. Our families have been mentally harassed because of this. We want a public apology from the publication and the author of this article for false accusations and trusting unreliable sources. We want the so-called source’s name, too. Despite of my wife Ripci giving clear clarifications last week they still completely printed something else altogether."
Earlier, a report in the Hindustan Times stated that Sharad Malhotra and Ripci Bhatia are facing probable problems in their marital bliss, as their individualistic personalities have created a distance between them. Though their relationship was formed on love, their extreme focus on their respective careers and travelling has led to turbulence between them. However, Sharad and Ripci are also trying to keep their love intact and are unwilling to give up so easily. Moreover, reportedly, they have also changed their home's location to bring positivity to their relationship.

Amid the ongoing speculations, Sharad Malhotra's wife, Ripci Bhatia also refuted the reports about their marriage hitting a rough patch. In a conversation with the Hindustan Times, Ripci denied having any issues in her and Sharad's marital bliss and mentioned that they are counting the days to celebrate their 5th love anniversary. Thanking god for keeping her and Sharad's marriage safe, she stated:
“With Krishna’s blessings and thanks to a whole lot of unwanted nazarbattus around us, we are soon going to be completing four glorious years of marriage and five glorious years of falling miserably in love with each other.”
Sharad Malhotra tied the knot with Delhi-based fashion designer, Ripci Bhatia on April 20, 2019.
