Bollywood actor, Shahid Kapoor and his darling wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor had welcomed their first child, Misha Kapoor on August 27th, 2016, and their second kid, Zain Kapoor on September 5th, 2018. The duo are doting parents to their little munchkins, and glimpses of the same are found on their respective social media handles. However, recently, the Jersey actor opened up about his protective attitude towards his kids and shared that he doesn't love to expose them on social media.
However, Mira Rajput Kapoor is herself a well-acclaimed social media influencer and enjoys a huge fanbase. She time and again shares glimpses from her merry life with hubby, Shahid Kapoor and kids, Misha and Zain. On April 19, 2022, Mira had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared two throwback pictures, from her hubby's shooting days of the film, Jersey. In one of the pictures, we could see Shahid playing with his daughter, Misha on the field. In the other picture, we could see the busy mommy segregating the cricket equipment with her son, Zain. Sharing them, Mira had written:
"While papa was shooting @shahidkapoor."

In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Shahid Kapoor opened up about how his social life has completely changed over the years. The actor gave the full credit for the same to his wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor. He mentioned that earlier, when he was in Punjab, life was different. However, as soon as he came to Mumbai, an act of sweet revenge for his wife was running inside his mind. He said:
“She has been pulling my leg for the last couple of years ‘Shahid, your social media game is so bad, it sucks, you are so boring’ We were pretty much living in Punjab throughout the Covid lockdowns. The ambience there was very different, I was in a different headspace. The minute I came to Mumbai , which was two months back, it was in my head ‘sweet revenge is coming Mira’."
Though Shahid has become more active on his social media handle due to his wife, Mira's influence. However, in the same conversation, he mentioned for his kids, Misha and Zain, he is still super protective. He added that the doting parents consciously don't post pictures of Misha and Zain. And talking about the one-or-two pictures that he had hardly posted with his kids, he added:
“We consciously don’t post pictures of our kids. There’s just one pic of Zain that I have put out, literally since he was born, maybe two.”

Further, in the same conversation, Shahid was asked about his kids' reaction to the fame they get. To this, the actor mentioned that though Misha and Zain have reached the age and are aware of the things their father does, the kids are never said anything in detail. He explained:
“They haven’t been here for two and a half years. They have just about reached that age where they will be aware of it. In a couple of years, we will discover. We don’t tell them that much, they know what I do but they don’t get told in detail. They just know aisa kuchh hai, papa shooting pe jaate hain. We have not yet got into explaining them, but kids today are so smart. I am sure they will figure it out.”
