Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor along with their babies- Misha Kapoor and Zain Kapoor make a close-knit happily family. Misha was born in 2016, and Zain arrived into this world a couple of years later in 2018. Both Mira and Shahid are an epitome of perfect couple and parents. Recently, on February 7, 2019, Mira posted a couple of Instagram stories in which we can see her baby girl, Misha flaunting her new ‘temporary’ hair colour. Mira wrote atop it, “Got a hair colour at Alim Uncle’s”, “I’m not a regular mom, I’m a cool mom”, “Relax guys, it’s just temporary and Wait till I’m 5.” on another one!
Now, during a media interaction recently, Shahid Kapoor was asked about Misha's new hair colour, and he wittingly replied, "Wo poore Marks & Spencer wali theme colour humne choose karri hai, and bohot plan karke wo photo daali gayi hai (That's Marks & Spencer colour them, and it was readily planned to upload that photo)." Mira usually uploads Misha's pics and videos on social media. In 2017, Misha Kapoor also got her ears pierced and got a lollipop treat from her mumma as her daddy was out of town. Sharing a super-adorable picture of baby Misha, Shahid had written, “Finally got my ears pierced! Thanks for the lollipop treat Mumma. You’re the best #whendadisaway.”
Recently, on September 05, 2018, Mira gave birth to Zain Kapoor. Mira and Shahid, revealing all the secrets and which song Misha sings for her baby brother, the doting mommy shared, “We spoke to her about it a lot. Read a lot of story books to her (Topsy and Tim and the New Baby became a favourite of hers), and let her feel a part of the process even till now! Help around, bring mom a glass of water or sing wheels on the bus to Zain if he’s crying. We let her feel the baby is hers to take care of so she felt like a grown-up little helper.”
In an interview after Zain’s birth, Shahid Kapoor’s mother, Neelima Azeem revealed how ‘big sister’ Misha reacted to the arrival of her little sibling. Neelima ji had stated, "It is definitely a sweet and exciting part in her life. Now, she has got a brother and a companion. Misha is basically a very soft and tender child. She is full of energy and fun, there is a lot of sweetness in her."
She had further added, "Even when she goes to the beach, she will play with the puppies and babies there.. she is like that with everyone and now it is her own brother. But, of course, it is a little emotional adjustment for all the children so that will happen. But I think her parents are handling that very beautifully. They are balancing the act nicely. All the credit goes to Mira and Shahid."
Mira shared her pregnancy troubles when she delivered their firstborn Misha, and stated, “I had a tough pregnancy, I went to those 5 months of difficult times to bring my daughter in to this world, in fact both of us together (Shahid Kapoor and she). So now I want to spend every moment that I can with her and I think there is a set of responsibilities around my plate and I feel at my age I have a lot more energy,"
Shedding some light on her own future, Mira had retorted, "I have my future ahead of me, so I can finish all of my responsibility and I have nothing in my way. I can raise my daughter, I can be a good wife. Nothing will stop me after that. I love being at home, I love being a mother to my child, I wouldn’t want to spend one hour a day with my child and rush off to work, why did I have her?
