Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput are the most adored couple in Bollywood, who, with their love and equation set the perfect example of a fairy-tale like marriage. The duo, who tied the knot in 2015, and are known for their humble nature and sizzling chemistry with one another. Over the years, Shahid and Mira have proven to the world that they are each other’s biggest support systems, as they never fail to root for one another. The duo is blessed with two kids, Misha and Zain.
According to a report by the Free Press Journal, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput have made a massive addition to their life, in the form of a massive new apartment in Mumbai. The actor and his better half jointly purchased the 5614-square feet sized apartment on the 24th floor of Tower B at the Oberoi 360 West in Worli. The couple closed the deal in association from the Chandak Realty Pvt Ltd, wherein the apartment came with a whopping price tag of Rs. 58 crores. The sale deed, that was made on May 24, 2024, fetched a stamp duty of Rs. 1.75 crores. They also purchased three parking spaces along with their massive apartment.

Earlier, during a conversation with Komal Nahta, Shahid Kapoor recounted an interesting anecdote, that dated back to the time when he welcomed his first child, his daughter, Misha with his wife, Mira Rajput. The terrific actor and doting father, Shahid revealed how he felt very scared and called up his father-in-law, seeking forgiveness. He explained how he thought that Mira’s father might be upset because their first child was a daughter. In his words:
“I was so happy, and then I was so scared because it was a daughter. And having a girl makes you feel so like ‘oh god’ because I had just gotten married and the first thing, I did was I called Mira’s father and said, ‘Dad, if I did anything to trouble you in the shaadi then I am really sorry.’”
In yet another conversation with the press during the promotions of his film, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, Shahid narrated a fun anecdote about having fights with his wife, Mira Rajput. Speaking with the Indian Express, the actor revealed that while his wife complaints to him of not spending enough time with her, on the other hand, it is she who remains busy on the phone most of the time.

Previously, while gracing Neha Dhupia’s chat show, No Filter With Neha, Shahid Kapoor talked about the many hurdles he faced throughout his career in films. He embraced the tag of an outsider despite being the son of an eminent actor. He expressed:
“I love the fact that every step forward required so much effort, and it meant so much, and so the gratification that you felt when you earned it was so solid. It has to be difficult to get something otherwise what's the point of it. If you start struggling in a BMW and then after a star, you buy another BMW, then what's the fun of it? You should have travelled in trains, you should have wondered how you're going to get your photo shoot like that's real.”
