On April 17, 2022, Baba Siddique had hosted an Iftaar party at the luxurious Taj Lands End Hotel in Mumbai, and Shah Rukh Khan had made heads turn with his all-black avatar at the star-studded affair. Pictures from the same had gone viral on the internet, and the actor had looked dapper in his trademark hairstyle. On April 20, 2022, Shah Rukh Khan and his wife, Gauri Khan were spotted by the paps at a private airport in Mumbai. While the paps were excited to get a glimpse of the royal couple, to their surprise, Gauri and Shah Rukh avoided getting clicked. It so happened that as soon as Shah Rukh and Gauri got out of their car, their guards covered their faces with an umbrella. This unusual gesture of the power couple left the paps stunned, and now, pictures from the same are going viral all over the internet.
Netizens took to the comment section of the post and started expressing their concern about the unexpected gesture of Shah Rukh and Gauri. While one user wrote, "Yarrr whtssss this... Why are they hiding... I'm not liking this behaviour... somebody tell us whts happening... Is everything ok," another one wrote, "Woh log muh chupaate fir bhi tum besharam log unke piche piche ghumte ho." Another fan of King Khan justified this act of him as he linked it with Aryan Khan's drug case and called the media toxic. His comment can be read as "After all that media thing which happened with Aryan k this is absolutely acceptable.....media is toxic af." One comment read "If they don't want to be photographed why do you bother? Just understand the memo and let them be. Basic decency shouldn't have to be taught."

Shah Rukh Khan and his wife, Gauri Khan have been through thick and thin in their lives, but had never left each other's hand. Desite being under media scrutiny, Gauri believes that there are only positives in being a superstar's wife. At the launch of a book titled Gravittus Ratna, in a media interaction, Gauri was asked about the positive and negative effects that she experiences in her professional career being Shah Rukh's wife. To which, Gauri had replied:
"I think because of who he (Shah Rukh) is, there are a lot of positives. I only take the positives and I don't take the negatives. Even if there are some negatives, I have to brush it aside and the reason is very simple because he helped me while launching Gauri Khan Designs, so, he is very important to me. Jokes apart, he has done a lot for our family. He is a great father and husband. I have to say that there are only positives being his wife and I would not like to share anything negative."
