And an exactly similar thing happened with Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke fame, Sangeeta Kapure. Before we take you further into the story, let us take a look at the journey of Sangeeta. Her love for acting started when she was studying in Pune and that gave her the courage to enact in theater plays. After completing her studies, she came to Mumbai in search of a role that gave her recognisation, thus she entered into the small screen and did a number of shows. These included Qubul Hai, Devo Ke Dev Mahadev, Choti Bahu and many more.
Recently, in an interview, Sangeeta cleared the air on her relationship status and talked about Romanch Mehta with whom she was in a relationship five years ago. She stated, "We have parted our ways more than five years ago. I don’t know why and how people still think that we are together. Yes, we were in a relationship, but everything doesn’t fall in the right place in our lives and, so, did our relationship. I sometimes get fed up with the same baseless question again and again. She further added, "We’re quite mature to take things as they are meant to be. Although we broke up, we don’t keep any bitter feeling for each other. We are still good friends."
While Sangeeta denies her wedding rumours, there is a report in CineTalkers that claims that they got married in the year 2014. It could be read as, "Talking about her personal life, she is married to her old time friend Romanch Mehta in Feb 2014. The couple is still enjoying the marital bliss and has no kids so far. She is still in small screens and is waiting to get her debut in Bollywood."
For those who don't know, Sangeeta and Romanch were in a serious and dated each other for good nine years. They were even ready to get married, but destiny played its game and they parted their ways.
In an interview, Sangeeta had talked about her respect for Bollywood actress, Kangana Ranaut and how she thinks that their traits are similar. She had stated, "I find my personality like Kangana Ranaut, as she is a strong-minded, Independent woman. She is not concern about the societal judgments about her. She makes people accept her, the way she is and this is exactly how I am; stubborn but in a good way."
