Popular actress, Sana Khan, who quit showbiz in October 2020, tied the knot with Surat-based businessman, Maulana Anas Saiyad. The former actress delivered her first child on July 5, 2023, in Surat and delighted her fans with the 'good news'. Currently, Sana Khan is busy fulfilling her mommy duties with her little one, and she couldn't be happier.
In an interview with ETimes, Sana Khan opened up about her baby boy for the first time and revealed his unique name. Sana and Anas are beaming with happiness, and the couple has named their baby boy, Saiyad Tariq Jamil. Talking about the significance behind the name, Sana shared that they wanted a name that signified piousness, gentleness, care, and honesty. She said:
"It is said naam ka insaan par bohot asarr hota hai. So, we wanted a name that signified piousness, gentleness, care, and honesty. Jamil means beauty, and Tariq means pleasant."

Talking about embracing motherhood, the former actress called it one of the best feelings in the world and shared that she still can't believe that she gave birth to a baby. Sana further mentioned that becoming a mother is a lifetime responsibility and that she feels helpless when her baby cries. However, the new mommy also shared that her baby is so tiny that she doesn't know how to hold him, so, for now, her mother-in-law is changing his diapers. In her words:
"It's one of the best feelings in the world and indescribable at the same time. Bringing a new life into the world is unimaginable. I still can't believe he is my baby; it seems I have come to visit someone else's child (smiles). It's a lifetime responsibility, and you are accountable for everything good or bad happening in the child's life. A woman goes through so many changes during this phase. You feel helpless when your baby cries; they are so tiny you don't know how to hold them. So, for now, my mother-in-law is changing his diapers."
Further in the interview, Sana Khan revealed how her husband, Anas Saiyad, has changed since the arrival of their baby boy and shared that he has started crying a lot. However, the new mommy mentioned that she used to be a crybaby in their relationship, but now Anas can't stop his tears while looking at the baby. She concluded:
"I feel I don't even know him. He is so different. He is crying a lot. I often see him crying while looking at the baby. I asked him why he was crying as I was the crybaby in the relationship, and the baby was my partner-in-crime."

It was on July 5, 2023, when Sana Khan took to her Instagram handle and delighted her fans with the news of her baby's arrival. The new mommy posted a cute video to announce the arrival of her son, wherein she gave a glimpse of her newborn's tiny hands. In the video, the newbie parents, Sana and Anas penned a heartfelt note and thanked God for blessing them with a baby boy. The note could be read as:
"Allah tala ne mukaddar mai likha phir usko pura kiya aur asaan kiya, Aur jab allah deta hai toh khush aur musarra ke saath deta hai. Toh Allah tala ne hame beta diya."
