Samantha and Naga Chaitanya have known each other from the past ten years and their love keeps on growing with time. Their Instagram feeds are a perfect proof of their love and they often indulge in social media PDAs.
On October 6, 2019, Samantha and Naga Chaitanya completed two years of their 'happily ever after' and the actress took to her Instagram to wish her 'darling husband'. She shared a few unseen pictures from their wedding day and their life after 'tying the knot'. Coming back to their love story, in an interview with Famously Filmfare, Samantha had revealed that it took them eight years to realise the love for each other. She had shared, "It took us eight years to be at the same point. Because there were times when I really liked him, and he was not in that space. And there were times when we wanted to work it out, but external factors. It took us a very long time to be in the same space." When Naga Chaitanya was invited on the show, Famously Filmfare, he had candidly talked about marrying Samantha. The actor had said, "I think there was a point when we both were single. We hung out more than normal. So, automatically things started building between us. I was also mentally looking to settle down. I always looked forward to having a family. So, all those thoughts started flowing in my head and she was right there in front of me. So, I was like she is a known devil (chuckles). I know all her mischief and I am fine with them."
In an interview with The Indian Express, Samantha had shared that marrying Naga Chaitanya was the best decision of her life. She had said, "Yesterday, I called him Chay and he said “ha?” and I had a Deja Vu moment. I went back to the time I was working with him on Ye Maaya Chesave. I was like – wow, I married him. I felt so happy. Immediately, I said a prayer. I thanked God. I am genuinely so happy. It is the best decision of my life."
