Popular actress, Rupali Ganguly always stuns the audience with her enduring performance, and she is an actor who can speak volumes through her expression alone. In a dreamy wedding, the Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai fame, Rupali had tied the knot with the man of her dreams, Ashwin K Verma, on February 6, 2013. After three years of marital bliss, the couple was blessed with a baby boy, Rudransh. Just like every mother, Rupali holds a special place in her heart for her son, Rudransh.
Rupali Ganguly had turned a year wiser on April 5, 2022, she had celebrated her birthday with her family, and glimpses from the same had won our hearts. But, the celebrations seem to have not ended yet as the actress took the internet by storm again by dropping some stunning inside pictures and videos from her one more grandeur birthday party. This time, Rupali was seen sharing her special day with her family and the cast of her most loved show, Anupamaa.

A few hours back, Rupali Ganguly took to her IG stories and shared a series of pictures and videos from her second 45th birthday bash on April 11, 2022. The actress was seen enjoying the party with her co-stars, Gaurav Khanna, Madalsa M Chakraborty, Sudhanshu Pandey and the whole team of Anupamaa. However, what caught our attention was a video, in which Rupali’s son, Rudransh, eagerly waited with a knife for his mommy to cut the two-tiered yummy cake. Later, the little munchkin adorably held his mother, Rupali’s hand and cut the cake while she planted a peck on Rudransh’s head. The moment was too cute for words, and it melted our hearts in split seconds. Check it out below:
The little boy, Rudransh had also surprised his mommy by gifting her ‘the best gift ever’. He had made a handmade card for his mommy and had written, “Happy birthday Mamma… I love you,” on it. The doting mother, Rupali Ganguly had shared it on her IG stories and had penned a heartfelt note, which could be read as:
“Best gift ever, for any mother, there cannot be a better birthday gift than this,”

In an interview with the Times Of India, Rupali Ganguly had recalled the time when she had left her acting career due to pregnancy. Later, she had mentioned how her husband, Ashwin had ‘given her the wings to fly’, when she had got the offer to play the character of an empowered woman in the Hindi TV serial, Anupamaa. Rupali had explained:
“After I quit Parvarrish due to my pregnancy, I was busy with my home and my child (Rudransh). I enjoyed every moment of it. However, when Rajan Shahi approached me for this show, the actor in me got greedy. What further piqued my interest was the fact that the concept of the show was in the zone of my father’s (Anil Ganguly) films, like Kora Kagaz, Humkadam, and Tapasya. The women in these films were strong and empowered, just like Anupamaa. When I spoke to my husband (Ashwin Verma) about it, he told me that I hadn’t got my due as an artist and said, ‘You should take it up and make us proud’. He took a break from his work so that I could get back to acting. In short, he gave me the wings to fly.”
