The wedding celebrations have begun for Shakti-Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki actress, Rubina Dilaik and her fiancé, Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka actor Abhinav Shukla. With just a day left for their wedding, the pre-wedding celebrations are going on at the Dilaik and Shukla household. Abhinav and Rubina will be pronounced husband and wife on June 21, 2018. The beautiful bride-to-be is all set for her big day, with the bridal glow on her face. We got our hands on the first picture of bride-to-be Rubina from her mehendi function. Rubina and Abhinav will exchange the wedding vows tomorrow at the famous Woodville Palace of Shimla. Sharing her wedding invite on her Instagram handle, Rubina wrote, “True Love nurtures and nourishes the soul! With this thought we @ashukla09 wanted to gift “a life” to our friends to mark the beginning of our new journey and thank them for being with us through our thick and thin. The love is not only for people and by people but we both have love for nature as well hence, physically our invite is organic and totally biodegradable! The cards are made of MDF wood and recycled paper! We want to encourage people to keep weddings fun and nature-friendly!”
Rubina and Abhinav will host wedding reception function for their friends from the industry on June 28, 2018, at Kishor Kumar Bungalow, Juhu Tara Road, Mumbai. In an interview earlier, Rubina revealed the common interest that she and Abhinav share. She stated, “We both love to explore new places, so that particular characteristic is so much imbibed in us that we believe in the beauty of the journey.” Abhinav asserted, “Well, I am a traveler at heart. I always believe that the most important part of a journey is the journey itself. Speaking about her soon-to-be-hubby, Abhinav, Rubina shared, “I call him a Pandora box – he is full of surprises. He is so creative that each time, he’ll surprise you with magnificent creations that your interest in human beings just grows. And whenever I see him do something new, I get all the more attracted towards him. I feel blessed that I’m leading my life with a person who knows how to live each and every day preciously.”
Thought behind choosing Shimla as their wedding destination, Rubina said in an interview, “We have chosen Shimla for various reasons. To begin with, most of our relatives are settled there. However, the prewedding functions will take place in Mumbai and Ludhiana, which Abhinav’s hometown. We are not going in for an elaborate ritual, as for us, what matters most is the saat phere. We both wanted it to be an outdoor affair. Abhinav, being an adventure junkie, wished to exchange vows amidst the mountains, in the lap of nature.
