From being the sushil sundar bahu Akshara from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai to a slightly mean and brutally honest person in the reality show Bigg Boss Season 11, Hina Khan was admired for her #BossLady attitude. Hina has also stunned fashion critics and her audiences and is now the biggest fashionista in the telly world. And now with her stint as Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, Hina is proving that she is the queen of TRPs and has topped the chart again! Though we already gave you a brief glimpse of the professional journey of Hina in the above paragraph, her boyfriend, Rocky Jaiswal is also all-praises for his lady-love for having a successful journey in the industry. Acknowledging Hina's achievements, he penned down, “‘One year ago when people thought we were drifting away in difficult waters, I had said that, time itself will answer and prove HINA Is a star to stay! From her mammoth reappearance as a Style Icon setting and changing trends to her immensely popular Music Video which made it to headlines and rode majorly on her shoulders.”
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’s former supervising producer further added, “She’s been awarded after BB more than some can say for their entire professional lives, yes those who questioned her career, only to prove that talent, truth and hard work will always be recognised and acknowledged. Her contrasting looks and performances in the digital space shook people into reaffirming her versatility. Magazine shoots for INDIAN and International brands were a pleasant addition for her fans.”
Rocky went on to express that he cannot think of any other name from the industry who is at the same space as his girlfriend, Hina. He continued, “While she’s been constantly busy doing prestigious events all over India and abroad gathering massive crowds she’s also brilliantly procured time to do some mega brand endorsements as well. I don’t think currently I can put together any other name from this fraternity at the same space as HINA not just because I think she’s a glorious star but because of the promise she has been able to deliver constantly at all times.”
Finally concluding his note with Hina’s decision to be Komolika and how she makes him fall in love with her again and again, Rocky elaborated, “To select komolika was not an easy task specially when she’s had multiple offers from multiple channels and production houses. She Chose to do something different which is not easy at all, given how perceptions work in TV. #KaunBanegiKomolika has been a rage even before the promo came out which I for one have never witnessed in the current years. Taken by Rocky’s romantic and touching note, Hina commented on his post, “The best thing in life to hold onto is the love and positivity instead of grudges and negativity, you taught me this @rockyj1. you are my support system, you are the reason of all the positivity and love in my life, thank you for always being there and giving me the right piece of advice. I am lucky in having found the perfect partner to spend my life with, my naughty lover.”
In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, when Hina was asked if playing the iconic vamp, Komolika after a positive character like Akshara is a gamble, she replied, “I really don't think playing Komolika after Akshara is a risk. As I said, the word stereotype is out of my dictionary and I have proved that time and again! And I will prove it again. And sadly this is the problem with our industry, we tend to think that positive leads are better than negative leads, but no it’s not like that. As infact both are important.”
Khatron Ke Khiladi runner-up continued, “Its actually a pheeki dal unless there is tadka. It is a proper dish which is made by different characters. So its not only about doing positive, as people will love you like this also. For example, when you talk about Sholay, Gabbar is actually the first character that comes to your mind. So I see this as a challenge and I love challenges! People have seen me in Khatron and Big Boss, and I am not someone who will give up. I will fight it and make sure to make it happen for myself. I will try my best, and at the same time tell people that this is a new space for me and you have got to give me time till I understand how this works.”
Hina Khan concluded by saying that she wants to explore the other domains and doing a positive role once doesn’t mean doing the same role again and again. She said, “But I definitely want to explore it, and I promise you that after this show I will do a positive lead again. I want to prove to the world that it doesn't work like that. If you do a positive doesn't mean you have to keep doing a positive! As infact doing a negative is as big or even bigger! It is your performance which will speak. A character doesn't define a show, but the performance does. The kind of impression you leave on people does. But post this I will play an innocent positive role where people cry with me as well.
