After over a year, a special court has passed the orders of de-freezing Indian actress, Rhea Chakraborty's bank accounts. For the unversed, the Narcotics Control Bureau had taken her in custody with the drug case linked to late Bollywood actor, Sushant Singh Rajput. The NCB had also arrested her brother over a dozen others in the same drug peddling case.
On June 14, 2020, Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai home. While there were conjectures that Sushant had committed suicide, his fans and family were sure that someone had killed him. After which, a lot of maths had been done, and investigation is still going in the case.

According to media reports, Rhea Chakraborty had asked for unfreezing of her bank accounts, which NCB froze. She also added that the action was unjust and caused harm to her. She revealed that she needs bank accounts to pay her taxes, support her lifestyle and take care of her younger brother, Showik.
After hearing both sides of the story, the special court permitted unfreezing her bank account. The court, in its statement, said:
"From the reply of the officer, it appears that there is no strong objection from the respondent side for unfreezing the bank account and FDs (fixed deposits) of the applicant."
After Sushant Singh Rajput's death, Rhea Chakraborty often expressed her love for the actor. On his first death anniversary, Rhea had shared a picture with him on her Instagram handle. Sharing the picture, Rhea had written:
"There isn’t a moment where I believe that you aren’t here anymore. They said that time heals everything but you were my time and my everything. I know that you are my guardian angel now -watching me with your telescope from the moon and protecting me. I wait for you everyday to come pick me up, I look for you everywhere – I know you’re here with me It breaks me everyday, then I think of you saying –“ you’ve got this bebu” and I carry on to the next day. A barrage of emotions cross my body everytime I think of you not being here.
She had further shared how her heart aches to write this, and there is no life without him. The actress had expressed how much it pains to not be with him. Rhea had concluded her note:
"My heart aches to write this, my heart aches to feel anymore. There is no life without you, you took the meaning of it with you. This void cannot be filled. Without you, I’m standing still. My sweet sunshine boy, I promise to give you ‘Malpua ‘everyday and read all the quantum physics books in this world- please come back to me I miss you my best friend,my man, my love..Bebu and putput forever +1#mywholeheart."
The CBI and NCB are still probing Sushant Singh Rajput's mysterious death case!
