On June 14, 2020, popular Bollywood actor, Sushant Singh Rajput had left us all forever in a mysterious way that is still being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). A few weeks ago, Sushant's girlfriend and Bollywood actress, Rhea Chakraborty's lawyer, Satish Maneshinde had requested the investigative agency, CBI to close the case as they didn't find anything substantial in the case. For the uninitiated, it was on July 28, 2020, when Sushant's father, Krishna Kishore Singh had filed an FIR and had accused his son's girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty of abetment to suicide, alleging that she had cheated him financially and had also tortured him mentally. However, none of them had proved right, and the actress has decided to live her life to the fullest with a brand new start in New Year 2021. A glimpse of the same is leading all the headlines as Rhea has attended her close friend and popular VJ, Anusha Dandekar's pre-birthday bash and some pictures from the same are going viral on the internet. On January 7, 2020, popular reality show, Roadies fame, Rajiv Lakshman took to his Instagram handle and shared two pictures with his good friend and Bollywood actress, Rhea Chakraborty from their close friend and VJ, Anusha Dandekar's pre-birthday party. The duo looked great together in their respective outfits, while Rajiv looked handsome as always in his black t-shirt and jacket. Rhea looked gorgeous in her light brown chequered coat and minimal makeup. Along with the pictures, Rajiv wrote, "My Girl" in the caption. Soon after Rajiv's post went viral, he started receiving a lot of hate comments for posting a picture with Rhea in the comment section. After which, he deleted his post and put up another post with a message to everyone that reads "I seem to have created unnecessary trouble with my irresponsible choice of words on a post. Rhea is a dear old friend, and I'm happy to meet her again, & I wish her well." Take a look:
After some moments, Rajiv Lakshman's wife, Susan Lakshman took to her Instagram stories and posted a group picture from Anusha's pre-birthday celebration that features all the guests. Just by having a closer look at the picture, it is easy to spot Rhea Chakraborty's father, Indrajit Chakraborty standing with her brother, and his son, Showik Chakraborty on the right side of the frame, just behind Rajiv. The group picture also features the adorable couple, Farhan Akhtar and his girlfriend, Shibani Dandekar. For the uninitiated, Rhea was arrested last year in September for her alleged involvement in the drugs case related to her late boyfriend, Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide. However, the actress had come out of jail in December on bail, since then, it was Rhea's first public appearance in the limelight. On the same day, when Rhea Chakraborty was partying with her friends and industry mates, Bombay High Court heard her late boyfriend, Sushant Singh Rajput's sisters' plea in context of Rhea's FIR against them. The court stated that Sushant was a good human being and called him an innocent man. The bench comprised renowned justices, M S Karnik and S S Shinde, who heaped praises on the late actor for the kind of person he was. Justice Shinde said, "Whatever the case...from Sushant Singh Rajput's face one could make out that he was innocent and sober...and a good human being. Everybody liked him especially in that M S Dhoni film." At the end of the hearing, the bench directed the two lawyers to submit their respective written submissions to the court.
