Bollywood actress, Rhea Chakraborty has been hitting the headlines for her alleged involvement in her boyfriend, Sushant Singh Rajput's drug case. Ever since then, the actress has been maintaining a low profile and keeping herself away from the media radar. However, recently, Rhea made her onscreen comeback with the show, MTV Roadies Season 19, as a part of one of the Gang Leaders. Apart from Rhea, the three other judges are Prince Narula, Gautam Gulati, and Sonu Sood.
In the upcoming episode of the show, Rhea Chakraborty was seen talking about the hard times she faced in her life and also mentioned all the labels that people had given her. The new promo of the episode that went live showed Rhea sympathising with a contestant, Shuly Nada, during the audition and talked about body positivity. Recalling what she had to deal with during the challenging time, the actress revealed how she chose to survive. Rhea said:
“A lot of people will say a lot of things. I have been labelled with many names, and many things have been said about me. But will I accept those labels? Kya main unke wajah se apne life me rukungi? Bilkul bhi nahi."

Further in the video, the contestant shared her experience of how she dealt with an abusive boyfriend and revealed how she got all the hate that she received due to her skin colour. However, soon after listening to the horrifying details, Rhea reacted to her trauma and quipped:
“Let them go. Kaun hai woh? Nothing is wrong with your colour, you are absolutely beautiful and strong."
For the unversed, Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his residence in Bandra on June 14, 2020, and ever since then, the CBI has been probing the case related to his death. Apart from that, agencies like the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) have also been involved, and they had also done separate investigations. Sushant's girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty was arrested in the case in September 2020, and almost a month later, she was granted bail by the Bombay High Court.

June 14, 2023, marked Sushant Singh Rajput’s third death anniversary, and Rhea Chakraborty posted a throwback video with him from one of their vacations on her IG handle. Rhea added Pink Floyd’s iconic song, ‘Wish You Were Here’ in the background of the video, which reflected her endless love for the late actor. As soon as Rhea shared the video, she got mercilessly trolled for being the reason for Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, and netizens accused her of gaining fake sympathy.
