Dancer, choreographer, actor, and film director, Remo D’Souza is one of the most renowned names of the glamour world. Apart from his successful career, it is his down-to-earth personality that has made him the ultimate icon. On December 11, 2020, Remo had suffered a heart attack and was admitted to Kokilaben Hospital. The news of his cardiac arrest had made his close ones anxious but like a fighter, he had bounced back hale and hearty. On April 2, 2021, Remo turned a year older and his wife, Lizelle penned a heartmelting wish for him.
Remo D’Souza and his wife, Lizelle had gotten married on October 5, 1999, when Remo was struggling to make a foothold in Bollywood. Lizelle had always stood like a pillar of strength for her hubby during his struggling days and had motivated him throughout. It was Lizelle’s trust and belief in her husband, Remo, that had made him a popular name in the glamour world. Lizelle is a perfect example of the famous saying, “Behind every successful man, there is a woman.” The duo gives major marriage goals to the millennials with their adorable pictures and inspirational captions.
On April 2, 2021, Remo turned 47 and his darling wifey, Lizelle took to her IG handle and wished him. Sharing some adorable pictures with him, Lizelle thanked Remo for emerging as a fighter. Her birthday wish can be read as “It takes 3 seconds to say “"I LOVE YOU", three hours to explain why, and a LIFETIME TO PROVE IT… I think if you ask anyone in this world who knows you and me know how important and what u mean to me .... Thank you for keeping your promise and comming out a fighter… happy BIRTHDAY REMO.... @remodsouza let’s roll it… my rockstar #comebackkid the name suits you.”
Last year on Remo’s birthday, Lizelle had posted some throwback pictures to wish him. Along with the beautiful pictures, Lizelle had thanked her hubby for supporting her at every step of her life. Her birthday wish could be read as “Happy birthday @remodsouza I am out of words for you.... you have received all the blessings and wishes from all over the world… All I want to say to you is my day starts with you ends with you… you the first thing on my mind and the last ... 21 years of knowing and loving you... it’s been the same... you are an inspiration to millions on this earth but you are our universe ... God bless you and may you always shine brighter and brighter let no one take your shine away... remember you are a diamond no one can break you... Happy birthday.”
Once on the dance reality show, Dance India Dance, Mithun Chakraborty had revealed an interesting detail about Remo, and had said, "Let me tell everybody that Master Remo was the pioneer of 'missed call romance'. He used to give 100 missed calls every day on Lizelle's phone." In his defence, Remo had stated, "Dada, those were the days when I was struggling to find my feet in the industry and cell phone calls were rupees 16 a minute."
Happiest birthday, Remo!
