We are talking about the wedding of none other than the dashing couple, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. The couple has always made everyone fall for them, courtesy their social media PDA, hand-in-hand romance during their vacation or for that matter, even their dinner dates. DeepVeer (as their fans love to call them) met on the sets of Goliyon Ki Raas Leela- Ram Leela, fell for each other and are now all set to take the plunge. Deepika and Ranveer will walk down the aisle on November 14-15, 2018, and it is going to be the grandest wedding of the decade. To announce this happy news with all their fans, Deepika and Ranveer took to their official Instagram account and shared their wedding invite. Their invite could be read as, "With the blessings of our families, it gives us immense joy in sharing that our wedding is set to take place on the 14th and 15th of November 2018. “We thank you for all the love that you have showered upon us over the years and seek your blessings as we embark on this incredible journey of love, loyalty, friendship and togetherness.”
After all the conjectures and speculations on Deepika and Ranveer’s wedding, the couple finally let the cat out of the bag and poked the excitement of their crazy fans. Now, all their fans know what they have to do on November 14 and 15 and it is to hook up to their news channels and phones to get the first glimpse of their favourite couple in their real-life wedding avatars. But do you know why the couple took a lot of time to declare and announce their wedding date?
Well, as per a report by Pinkvilla, they were excited to make an announcement on Ganesh Utsav or Dusshera, but something came up. As per the online entertainment tabloid report, “A source close to the couple tells us that they were eager to announce it earlier on Ganesh Utsav or Dusshera, but something or the other came up and they had to postpone it.” Okay, no prob guys, now that we know it, we can’t contain our excitement! As per the reports, the wedding is set to take place at Lake Como, Italy. A Filmfare report on this could be read as, “Both Ranveer and Deepika were keen on having a destination wedding in Italy and they have finalised Lake Como as their wedding destination. The place is dotted with exquisite villas along the shoreline, which is why both of them decided to wed in this beautiful place”.
Further revealing the details about the number of guests, it stated, “It’s a very special day for both Ranveer and Deepika which is why they just want the close ones to be present for their wedding ceremony. Mostly it will be their families and a few close friends. The guest list consists of merely 30 people and that’s exactly how these two want it. Italy is a favourite destination of both Ranveer and Deepika so they want to keep their big day more of a private affair. Earlier, a DNA report stated about Deepika and Ranveer’s impending wedding, “Both, Ranveer and Deepika, were keen to have a small ceremony. The wedding at a foreign destination will give them the privacy they desire. They will probably have a reception in Mumbai for their friends and colleagues. A few people from Bollywood like Arjun Kapoor, who is one of Ranveer’s closest B-Town buddies, and Shah Rukh Khan, who is fond of Deepika, may join the celebrations in Italy. The rest of the wedding party will comprise the couple’s family members and pals”.
Dismissing their wedding, Ranveer and Dipika were most of the times seen taking a dig at the media. In an interview lately, when Ranveer was asked about the wedding, he remarked, “It is the function of speculation – to exist. Nothing is official until it is made official and I am not a seer. I cannot say this will happen on this date in the future. Right now, we are both extremely busy working. Besides, she is also recuperating from back problems. So, we are quite occupied and distracted. So, if there is an announcement in the future, you will be hearing me shouting from the rooftops.”
Deepika, on the other hand, in an interaction with Rajeev Masand said, “When it is time, I’ll know that it is the right time. I think as an institution, it is extremely important. That’s the way I have been brought up. It is extremely important for me to see myself like that. It is every girl’s dream. When further probed if such rumours bother her, she retorted, “When it is time, I’ll know that it is the right time. I think as an institution, it is extremely important.
