While the pre-wedding festivities have already begun for the lovebirds, the bride-to-be Deepika had her Nandi Puja ceremony at her Bangalore residence on November 2, 2018. And now, we got our hands on the to-be groom’s haldi ceremony and he looked high on happiness clicking crazy selfies with his relatives. His one selfie with his close friend from the industry, Shanoo Sharma went viral on the internet where the groom can be seen glowing with haldi on his cheeks and excitement on his face. Ranveer’s residence is all decked up with phoolon ki ladi for his wedding. Check out the pictures:
Deepika and Ranveer will have a star-studded grand reception at November 28, 2018 for their friends from the industry. And as per the sources, the dulhe raja has some grand plans for his wedding reception. Ranveer has come up with a playlist of 90s songs and has named it ‘RAITA SONGS’. The reports stated, “It’s well-known that Ranveer loves the ’90s. To make his reception special, he has made a playlist of the naughty dance numbers of the ’90s called the ‘Raita songs’. This list comprises Anil Kapoor, Akshay Kumar and Govinda chartbusters. He plans to make his friends and family dance to them.” Sounds like fun, isn't it?
Since Deepika and Ranveer’s wedding is around the corner, their fans are intrigued to know each and every single detail from the venues, guest list, menu to the designers they are wearing. Yes, as per the sources Deepika has already purchased her mangalsutra and it costs a whopping Rs 20 lakh owing to a solitaire in it!
As per the other source, Deepika and Ranveer want their wedding to be very private. So, they have requested the guests to not bring their cell phones inside the venue. The reports stated, “The couple has apparently asked their guests not to get their cell phones to the wedding so as no photos or videos get leaked before they officially announce it."
The source further added, "They have asked guests to not bring their cell phones to the ceremony. Considering the fact that it will be a destination wedding, there will be fewer people and all the arrangements will be in place. Just like an excited and happy bride-to-be, Deepika also expressed her feelings of getting married in an interview with Rajdeep Sardesai. Deepika remarked, “I'm excited in the same way as I'm excited about signing my next film. Marriage is something that I've always looked forward to in my life, as would any other girl."
Deepika went on to say, "I have seen my parents do it so well and so successfully and for me that’s the way I would like my married life to be as well. I think they have a beautiful relationship, the way they have managed their professional life and being together as a family and in every way they have set an amazing benchmark for me and my sister and I would love for it to be that way.”
On October 21, 2018, Deepika and Ranveer confirmed their November wedding by releasing the invitation card on their social media handles. Deepika and Ranveer’s wedding invite in English could be read as, “With the blessings of our families, gives us immense joy in sharing that our wedding is set to take place on the 14th and 15th of November, 2018. We thank you for all the love you have showered upon us over the years and seek your blessings as we embark on this incredible journey of love, loyalty, friendship and togetherness.
