At The Print’s Off The Cuff chat show, Deepika had revealed that Ranveer has to follow the ‘Padukone family wardrobe’ i.e., white t-shirt and blue jeans when he meets her parents.
In January 2020, Ranveer Singh had wrapped up schedule for the film, '83 and he along with his wife, Deepika Padukone had headed off to an unknown destination to celebrate the latter's birthday. Deepika and Ranveer had walked hand-in-hand at the airport, however, it was his swanky long jacket that had caught everyone's attention. Ranveer had slayed in a zany reversible wool coat by Gucci. In September 2019, Deepika Padukone had made heads turn with her airport look and had left us in awe as she had borrowed her hubby, Ranveer Singh's outfit and carried it off like a pro! Deepika had borrowed Ranveer's oversized neon green sweatshirt which she had paired with blue lower and shoes. Ranveer had worn this turtleneck sweatshirt during the promotions of Gully Boy. During a media interaction at the Filmfare Glamour And Style Awards, Deepika Padukone was asked if she borrows anything from husband Ranveer Singh’s wardrobe. To this, Deepika revealed, “I have borrowed a lot of his sweatshirts and t-shirts." And when asked if Ranveer borrows anything from her wardrobe, she replied, "He's borrowed my sunglasses." When asked what she felt when Ranveer became her husband, Deepika shared, "I think soon after the ceremony was done. The minute we held hands it was different. It was not like holding my boyfriend's hand; he's your man for life. Almost, instantly it happened."
In an interview with Filmfare, Deepika Padukone had poured her heart out and spoke about having a permanent roommate like Ranveer Singh and had stated, “It’s beautiful living together. I’m sure cynics will say you’ve just gotten married to him, wait for 15 years or 25 years. We’ll figure it out then. For now, it’s the best feeling in the world. I looked forward to living together because I moved out of home at a young age to start working. A lot of my friends used to say we can’t wait to get out of our house. I was the opposite. I got out young. I craved for my family. When we were dating, it was about spending time with his family or going to Bangalore to be with my parents. I’d crave that quality time where you wake up in the morning and have someone to talk to while you’re having breakfast.
