Brahmastra couple, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are the hottest talk of the town these days. Ever since the Sanju actor termed his relationship with the Raazi actress as “too new to talk about”, netizens couldn’t stop gushing about them. Ranbir and Alia set the tongues wagging when they walked in together at Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Anand S Ahuja’s wedding reception. Recently, the Kalank actress Alia Bhatt revealed that she doesn’t want to be in a live-in relationship, and rather want to get married. Alia said, “Yes, I’ve not set any deadline, because it doesn’t really matter. I may be like, ‘Listen, I love you, so let’s get married and live together but I will still work.’ So, I may get married just to live with that person. It’s also because I don’t want to be in a live-in relationship. I don’t want to live with someone until I get married. So, it may happen for that reason”.
Unlike her fellow actresses in the industry like Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Neha Dhupia, Bipasha Basu Singh Grover, Sagarika Ghatge and many others, Alia Bhatt wants to get married before 30. Alia further shared, “Nothing is cast in stone, right? So, if I feel that I’m in a position where I want to take such a step, then I will. I’ve always believed that I would get married because of kids. So, if I am like, ‘This is the time I want to have my children and am also ready to have babies,’ I will get married”.
And now, after Alia left everyone wondering when will this newbie couple enter the bond of holy matrimony, Ranbir Kapoor reveals when he wants to get married. As the promotional spree of Sanju, the 35-year-old actor connected with his fans through Twitter from the official Twitter handle of Fox Star Hindi on June 17, 2018. When a fan asked him, “Ranbir when will you marry ???”, B-town’s Rockstar reverted, “Soon hopefully”.
In an interview with Rajeev Masand, Ranbir spoke about his ‘too new’ relationship with Alia and asserted, “I think every human being does extraordinary things only when they are in love. So, I believe that love is something which is a privilege if it comes in your life and to be in happy, beautiful positive place a relationship with it could be with a girl a guy, with a friend your mother your father or anybody but when there is some genuine love, it’s really beautiful.”
When further asked about the influence of Alia on him, Ranbir revealed, “It’s only positive and more so because we are working in a film together and I really admire her as an actor. To see her have so much of colour, so much of spontaneity, so much of hardwork, so much of discipline (extremely disciplined) is quite rare. It’s amazing. It’s been 10 years for me in this industry, little lethargy, a little chalta hai type attitude comes in. At the GQ interview, when Ranbir was asked how it feels to fall in love again, Sanju actor retorted, “It always comes with a lot of excitement. It’s a new person, it comes with new beats. Old tricks become new tricks again- you know, being charming and romantic, all of that. I think I’m more balanced today. I value relationships more. I can appreciate hurt and what it does to a person much more than I could a couple years back.”
After Ranbir broke up with Katrina, he said that he is hoping to fall in love again. In a throwback interview of 2016, Ranbir Kapoor mentioned, “I want to get married, I want to have children and I will do it in the right way. I will meet a light-minded person and fall madly, truly and deeply in love and just take it from there.”
Well, looks like Ranbir has found the love he was looking for in the one who has the biggest crush on him, Alia Bhatt. *wink wink*
