The Brahamastra actors are not only hitting to the headlines for working together but also for their relationship. While Ranbir and Alia’s relationship has created buzz everywhere, we stumbled upon one of the cutest videos of the former imitating the latter. Yes, on the couch of Koffee with Karan last season, Ranbir Kapoor came as a guest with Ranveer Singh. In one of the segments, we can see Ranbir imitating Alia Bhatt and Ranveer imitating Sonam Kapoor. What made us go aww were Ranbir’s expressions just like that of Alia’s when she talks. As per the vibes and Alia-Ranbir’s indulgence with each other’s families, we can clearly hear wedding bells ringing anytime soon. For the ones who are not aware, Ranbir in an interview with GQ confirmed dating Alia and opened up about his ‘new’ relationship. Here’s what he was quoted as saying, “It’s really new right now, and I don’t want to overspeak. It needs time to breathe and it needs space. As an actor, as a person, Alia is- what’s the right word- flowing right now. On the other hand, Ranbir has been Alia’s crush for so long and she has been quite frank about it. Reminiscing about her first interaction with him, Alia said on Karan Johar's chat show, Koffee With Karan, "I remember the first time I spoke to Ranbir. You (Karan Johar) called him up when Rockstar just released and you said, 'Here, talk to Ranbir. Tell him how much you love him'. And I spoke so much rubbish. I was just talking non-stop, and he was like, 'Yeah, that's very nice, Alia.'"
She had further added, “Obviously, I have hung out with him after that, and I still think he is really adorable. And I still want to marry him”. She retorted, “Everybody knows my plans. I have gone on record and I have said it. I'm very open about it except to Ranbir”. Speaking to the Hindustan Times once, Alia said, “I would definitely say that I’m fascinated by the kind of person he is with his vibe and behaviour. He is a really rare person and in the years that I have been alive, I haven’t seen many such people”. In fact, this relationship is going so serious that even parents are now indulged in it. Talking about Alia and Ranbir’s marriage, Mahesh Bhatt was quoted as saying, “I have never spoken about my children’s private lives. They are adults and it is their prerogative. I would never demean and belittle them by talking about it in public. It’s their right and if they want to talk about it or to remain silent about it; it’s their choice. On the other hand, Rishi Kapoor remarked, “Jo hai woh hai, sabko pata hai. I don't need to say anything more.” He further added, “It is high time he got married. I settled down when I was 27, Ranbir is 35. So he should think about marriage. He can marry anyone of his choice; we don't have any objection to it. I want to spend time with my grandchildren before I am gone.” And went on to say, “[Be it] Ranbir or his contemporaries, actors have blinkers on and are focused on their work. The only women they meet are the actresses. They don't socialise as much; that is the flipside of life in the movies.”
