Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are the most sought-after celebrity couple, and it's been quite some time since their wedding rumours have been hitting the headlines. It seems like yesterday when Alia had admitted her crush for Ranbir on Karan Johar’s chat show, Koffee With Karan, she even went on to accept that she wanted to marry him.
Destiny had played its role and had made Alia and Ranbir fall head-over-heels in love with each other during the shoot of their first film together, Brahmastra. Ever since Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt had made a couple entry at Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Anand Ahuja's wedding reception, their fans couldn't wait for the two to announce their wedding. There are speculations about the duo's wedding every month. And, the latest buzz is that the adorable couple is all set to tie the knot in April 2022 and the preparations have already begun.

And now, Ranbir Kapoor's aunt, Rima Jain reacted to his April wedding and clarified the same. While talking to Pinkvilla, Rima denied the news and brushed it off as a rumour. Talking about the same, she said:
"Nothing that I know of as yet. They will get married but I don’t know when. They will decide and then suddenly you'll will all get to know."
Rima also stated that it will be a shock for her if the news is true as they have not prepared anything. In her words:
"Nothing like this. Hum log ne kuch prepare hi nahin kiya toh shaadi kaise itni jaldi hogi. It will be shocking for me also if it’s true. Wedding will definitely happen, but I don’t know when."
On March 27, 2022, the famous bridal designer, Beena Kannan had taken to her Instagram handle and had posted a picture with Ranbir and Alia. In the photo, Alia had worn a cream-coloured ensemble while Ranbir had donned a blue-hued shirt. The couple were seen posing with the designer. However, the post was filled with netizens' comments as they had asked whether they are getting married. While one user had written, "Is it Wedding bells", another had commented, "It look likes wedding bells."

In an interview with Rajeev Masand, when the journalist had recalled Ranbir saying that he wanted to be married by 32 and have kids by 34 and asked him to comment on it, the Brahmastra star had retorted:
“Well, I think it would have already been sealed if the pandemic had not hit our lives. I don’t want to jinx it by saying anything. I want to tick mark that goal very soon in my life.”
On August 19, 2021. Alia Bhatt's stylist, Lakshmi Lehr had shared some stunning pictures of the Student of the Year actress. The pictures had featured Alia's house and a couple of wall frames were visible in the background. One of these classy frames had a picture of the much-in-love duo, Alia and Ranbir. In the picture, we could see Ranbir giving a peck on his girlfriend, Alia's forehead.
