Bollywood actor, Ranbir Kapoor landed himself in big trouble after he made fun of his pregnant wife, Alia Bhatt's weight. The video instantly circulated on social media, and fans were irked by Ranbir's careless comment, and everyone could see Alia's discomfort with the remark too. After days of getting trolled, Ranbir Kapoor finally publically apologised to people for hurting their sentiments.
For those who don't know, it all started during a YouTube live, wherein Ayan Mukerji asked Ranbir and Alia why they are not promoting the film everywhere. On this, mom-to-be, Alia replied, "We will promote the film, and we will be everywhere, but if the question you are asking is why we are not phailod everywhere, right now our focus is..." Ranbir interrupted and pointed out Alia's baby bump and quipped:
"Well I can say somebody has phailod."

Recently, during a media interaction in Chennai, Ranbir Kapoor apologised to his fans for passing the distasteful comment, which hurt their sentiments. He said that he loves his wife, Alia more than his life. Ranbir also added that it was a joke that didn't turn out to be funny. He apologised to people, who got triggered by the joke. Ranbir also shared that he had a talk with Alia and she had laughed out loud. Check it out:
On April 14, 2022, in the presence of their favourite people, Alia and Ranbir had taken the saat pheras on the balcony of their home where they had spent the best days of their past five years of relationship. For the wedding, Alia had ditched the red lehenga and had opted for an ivory-coloured saree from the designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee.
