It was in the 90's when Ram met his muse Gautami on the sets of a television show, Ghar Ek Mandir. While in the serial their chemistry had attracted audiences' heart. In reality, they had friend-zoned each other and never thought of dating. But with time they fell in love and tied the knot on February 13, 2003, and have made us believe in the power of love.
The duo has been quite active on the social media, and a couple of months ago, Ram had created a stir with his weight loss journey. Yes, the actor had reduced all the flab and is back to his fit avatar. On August 30, 2019, the actor took to his Instagram and shared the reason behind his wife's envy. The actor shared a video, wherein, he is found kissing and cuddling his dog under the blanket, and the doting wife is feeling jealous and recorded the whole scene on her phone. He captioned the video as, "My wife is jealous of our love". Take a look at the video below:

Coming back to Ram's fitness journey, in an interview with the Mumbai Mirror, Ram had talked about his transformation from flab to fab. He had shared, "I was 130 kgs when I started and I want to lose another 25-30 kgs.” The actor revealed that his journey started two years ago at the age of 43 and added, “I decided that if I wanted to do achieve my weight goals, I will have to take time off from work. It would need to be a substantial length of time — six months to a year."
In an interview with The Times of India, Ram had stated his inspiration behind his weight loss, and had said, "My wife Gautami loves me the way I am. She never pressurised me to lose weight or made me feel I am overweight. But whenever I looked at her, I felt what an inspiration she is. Actually, Gautami is my inspiration because when I see how fit she is even after delivering two kids, I can’t help but get inspired. She has been my biggest strength and motivation throughout my journey."
Gautami had also talked about witnessing her husband, Ram's drastic transformation, and had stated, "Fitness is something very personal. No one can push or force the other into fitness. With Ram, when he decided to do it, he went for it. He is a foodie so for him to lose weight and control his diet, is a big thing. He has taken a long time to lose all the weight. He has not supplemented and it is going fit completely in a natural way. He has not gone undergone any surgery as people feel and has opted for the natural way. Ram still feels that he has just come halfway through and will take another 6 months to achieve his goals and reduce more weight and become almost half the size that he is now."
