Popular South Indian actor, Ram Charan and his wifey, Upasana Konidela are living the best phase of their lives. The lovebirds are all set to hop on their parenthood journey. For the unversed, the couple tied the knot on June 14, 2012. And finally, after 10 years of their marriage, the couple are all excited to welcome their little bundle of joy into their lives. Recently, soon-to-be mommy, Upasana opened up about embracing parenthood with her husband, Ram Charan.
In an interview with Human of Bombay, soon-to-be mommy, Upasana Konidela opened up about embracing parenthood with her darling husband, Ram Charan. Talking about the same, the famous entrepreneur mentioned that she is excited to embark on the new journey of motherhood. Upasana further stated that she feels proud that she decided to have a baby when she wanted to. Further, she mentioned that after ten years of marriage, she and her husband decided to complete their family as they feel they both are in a much good position now. In her words:
"I am very, very excited and also very proud that I chose to become a mother when we wanted to, not when society wanted to. So, ten years after our marriage, we have taken a call to have a kid now and I think it’s the best time because both of us are booming, both of us are financially secure and we can take care of our kids by ourselves."

Further, in the same conversation, Upasana stated that as a couple, she and her husband didn't allow the opinion of others to affect their choices and decisions. She stated that despite facing pressure from their family and society, they didn't change their mind and did what was best for them and their to-be-born child. In her words:
"It was our mutual decision. As a couple, we didn’t let pressure hit us, whether it is from the society outside, our family or outsiders. Which says a lot about our relationship and how we are going to bring up our child as well."
On April 1, 2023, Upasana had taken to her Instagram handle and shared a series of priceless glimpses from her dreamy baby shower. In the pictures, the soon-to-be mommy could be seen enjoying her beautiful baby shower with her friends. For the ceremony, Upasana donned a white-hued lacework maxi dress and flaunted her baby bump in the cutest way possible. She styled her look with a pair of tinted sunglasses and flat sandals. The mommy-to-be radiated her pregnancy glow while posing for the camera with her friends.

On December 12, 2022, Ram Charan and his wifey, Upasana announced their pregnancy and shared the 'good news' with their fans. Taking to her IG handle, the mommy-to-be had shared a heart-touching note, featuring a photograph of Lord Hanuman on it. In the note, the parents-to-be requested their loved ones to shower them with blessings. The note could be read as:
"With the blessings of Shri Hanuman Ji, we are delighted to share that Upasana and Ram Charan are expecting their first child. With love and gratitude, Surekha and Chiranjeevi Konidela, Shobana and Anil Kamineni."
