Television celebrity, Rakhi Sawant always makes way to the headlines for her unfiltered statements and love life. For the unversed, Rakhi was earlier married to her ex-husband, Ritesh. However, things had gone pretty bad between the duo, and they have decided to part ways. Now, she is head over heels with her current boyfriend, Adil Durrani and every now and then, the duo is spotted together.
For the unversed, Adil Durrani is a Mysore-based businessman by profession and is six years younger than Rakhi Sawant. A few days back, Rakhi had attended an event where she had introduced Adil as her boyfriend for the first time to the media. In a paparazzi video, Rakhi was seen dialling Adil for a video call and afterwards, she had shown her mobile screen to the shutterbugs while waving at him. She had looked super happy while calling him the first true love of her life.

On June 26, 2022, Rakhi Sawant was spotted along with her boyfriend, Adil Durrani at a cancer awareness program. She was seen wearing a heavily embellished, stone-studded red lehenga paired with a choli featuring a princess cut neckline and a matching dupatta. She teamed her look with heavy diamond jewellery, including a choker neckpiece, a few more necklaces, a nath, a crown, and matching bangles. On the other hand, Adil was seen wearing a maroon-coloured bandhgala suit as the much-in-love duo walked hand-in-hand inside the event. At the entrance, Rakhi was also heard saying that her dress was heavy like a building while her boyfriend was seen blushing while listening to her. Check out:
As soon as Rakhi Sawant and Adil Durani's glimpses from the event were posted on social media, netizens started massively trolling her for wearing such a heavily embellished dress at the cancer awareness program. One user wrote, "Oh.....first I thought, she's going to a fancy dress show." Another netizen commented, "Looks like she is attending marriage ceremony." While another questioned, "Cancer awareness this dress?" While one more user penned, "What’s the connection of the dress and the event."

Earlier in an interview with ETimes, Rakhi had opened up about the possibilities of getting married to the man of her dreams, Adil. However, the actress had also clearly stated why she and Adil aren't thinking about marriage now. Reflecting on her previous marriage with her ex-husband, Ritesh, the actress had expressed how things had ended on a pretty sour note. Thus, Rakhi had said that they should not be forced to do it if she and Adil are happy without getting married. The actress had shared:
"It all depends on Adil. Aur Waise bhi maine ek baar Shaadi ki Na, kya kar liya? We are happy without marriage, we are together and everything is going good. Now, we will work together, run our business. Don't you guys feel happy seeing me arriving in different cars? We are getting offered films, songs and web series and we are ready to work. Adil will not work with any other heroine, I am his manager and heroine both (laughs)."
