After 10 years of being in a happy marriage, they are still ‘head-over-heels’ in love with each other! While many marriages have their own sets of ups and downs, Shilpa and Raj have always set the goals high with their relationship. In a throwback interview with Filmfare magazine, Raj had talked about how love brewed between them, and had stated, “It was love at first sight. From the moment I saw her, I knew I’d love her to be my life partner. She’s got an angelic side to her. Her homely side grew on me as I got to know her.”
Shilpa, who is rocking her 40’s with her elusive style statement, owns a big fan following and Raj is the most active member of the club. On April 8, 2019, the actress posted a beautiful picture of herself on her Instagram handle, wherein, she gave out vintage vibe in an organza saree. She captioned the picture as, “Vintage vibes on the set of Super Dancer! Love this hand-painted organza saree.” After seeing the lovely picture, Raj was the first one to comment, “OMG even wine doesn’t get this better with age! Recently, Shilpa had revealed the secret mantra behind her successful marriage on Sony TV’s reality show, Super Dancer Chapter 3. She had revealed, “It's important to have the relationship of friendship in any relationship. I think Raj and I never feel that we are tied to this relationship of marriage. Even now we go on dates on Friday nights, we call each other girlfriend and boyfriend. So, we don't want to feel that burden that we are together just because we are in a marriage. Shilpa had also revealed the key of a happy marriage, and had stated, “Trust is also a bedrock of any relationship. It's our 10th year now... It's important to grow in any relationship, be it between friends, siblings or partners, otherwise, you outgrow the relationship. In a throwback interview with The Times of India, Shilpa wasn’t able to hold back her emotions and the love she feels towards her husband. The actress had shared, “I met Raj at a time in my life where I was riding this wave with the Big Brother success. He lived in London with his parents who had told him about me, ‘Yeh Shilpa Shetty aayee hai aur usne Indians ka naam ooncha kiya hai.’ He came to my hotel and the first thing was that he came and touched my mother’s feet even though he was a Londoner.
