Television couple Disha Parmar and Rahul Vaidya are currently enjoying the newest phase in their lives as they recently embraced parenthood for the first time. For the unversed, Disha Parmar gave birth to her and Rahul's first child, a baby girl on September 20, 2023. As Rahul Vaidya was recently spotted at the airport, he shared some heartwarming insights into his life after becoming a dad.
In his interaction with the paparazzi, Rahul Vaidya opened up about his baby girl and revealed that she is doing very well. The newbie daddy added that his daughter has started playing, but she doesn’t let them sleep the whole night. Mentioning that her mom, Disha Parmar can’t sleep even a bit, Rahul stated:
“Baby bahut achi hai, by god, khelne lagi hai but sone nahi deti, raat bhar sone nahi deti. Main to phir bhi so jata hoon, but mummy to bilkul nahi so pati.”

When Rahul was asked who his newborn resembles, Rahul quickly replied that he hopes that the baby looks like her mom, Disha. Later, the actor also promised that he will make the baby meet the paps very soon and added:
"I hope she resembles her mother Disha. I want her to grow up as beautiful as Disha is. She is very cute and I'm very grateful to God. Will soon make you guys meet, but for now, once she is 3 months old then we shall take her out. She is too young right now so the wait shall be for 3 months."

On September 25, 2023, Disha Parmar shared her husband, Rahul Vaidya's picture with their newborn daughter from the hospital. The picture showed the new daddy looking fondly at his baby girl, who was sleeping peacefully. The little one was dressed in a white-hued, anchor-printed onesie and a cutesy green-hued cap. Alongside the picture, Disha penned a note to reveal that the picture was clicked at 12 at night as Rahul celebrated his first birthday as a dad in the hospital. Expressing her emotions about the glow on the newbie father's face, Disha wrote:
"A little too late to the party.. But this picture has a thousand emotions! Clicked at 12 .. celebrating your 1st bday as a DAD in the hospital and look at that face of yours!!! I hope your happiness only grows & your face shines just like this.. Always & Forever! I Love you beyond words."

In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Rahul Vaidya opened up about the beautiful feeling of embracing fatherhood and revealed how he felt when he held his baby girl for the first time. The newbie dad shared that it was an emotional moment for him and he was numb for a few hours and mentioned how he started crying whenever he saw his newborn daughter. Adding that he still gets overwhelmed as the feeling of becoming a dad is still sinking in, he said that it’s just a different feeling.
