Hardly have three months passed since Isha Ambani got married to Anand Piramal when we witnessed yet another most spectacular wedding bash of the year. While two out of the three Ambani heirs have gotten married, we wonder when the youngest Ambani, Anant will get married to his ‘not so rumoured anymore’ ladylove, Radhika Merchant. It was only a while back, when we shared with you one of the highlights of the Ambani wedding. Newly-weds, Shloka Mehta and Akash Ambani had their fair amount of fun with the youngster lot post their star-studded wedding reception on March 11, 2019. And so, a one-of-a-kind video had emerged, wherein, Akash and Shloka seal their wedding with an ‘oh-so-romantic’ liplock as their friends cheered for them in the background. Post sharing their lovely moment, Akash and Shloka went on to cheer for chote bhai, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant to follow suit, which the latter desperately refused! Isn’t Radhika Merchant such a head-turner? Last year, a few lovey-dovey pictures of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant went viral on social media and in no time, rumours were afloat that the duo have gotten engaged. However, a Reliance spokesperson had refuted all such engagement rumours and had shared with Business Today, “Anant Ambani is not engaged yet.”
This is totally at par as Nita Ambani herself had spoken about and the freedom given to their children to choose their life partners in an interview. This is what she had shared, “Mukesh and I as parents have given our children the freedom to choose their life partners. To give you all a little information about Radhika Merchant, the gorgeousness is the daughter of Viren Merchant, the CEO and Vice Chairman of Encore Healthcare. Post completing her graduate degree from the New York University, in Politics and Economics, Radhika had worked as Sales Executive in 2017 at Isprava, a real estate firm that ‘creates dream holiday homes for those with the finest tastes’. Quite ambitious by nature, Radhika Merchant shared her experience about working in the luxury space at an interview, “I had never given much thought to the concept of luxury while growing up. However, after joining Isprava, my idea of luxury has evolved. Earlier I was put off by the mentality behind luxury because I equated it with a large logo on a handbag or a specific pattern on a piece of fabric but after joining Isprava and understanding the brand's idea of luxury I have learnt to appreciate it. To us, luxury is the seamless process of buying a home and a hassle-free holiday experience."
At Priyanka Chopra’s Udaipur wedding in December 2018, shutterbugs were stationed outside the Jodhpur airport to catch a glimpse of all the celebrities who were popping in, every now and then. And then Nita Ambani’s single gesture proved us all that she is the most amazing to-be mom-in-law ever! At the airport, Nita was seen holding the hand of her youngest son, Anant’s muse, Radhika Merchant. The ‘probable’ sasu-maa and bahu jodi seemed to share a superb camaraderie as Nita’s extremely sweet gesture by putting Radhika in front of the limelight, rather than herself coming into it, made us all blurt out a big loud ‘awww’!
