Recently, we got hold of a throwback video of Priyanka Chopra, wherein she talked about infidelity. It so happened that during one of the promotional events of the film, Bajirao Mastani, PeeCee was asked about the difficulties she faced while portraying the character of 'Kashibai'. Talking about the same, the actress mentioned that she is not as large-hearted as 'Kashi' to love her husband, despite him being in an extra-marital affair. She said:
“Difficult isliye tha kyunki Kashi aise aadmi se tab bhi pyaar karti rahi jisne uske saath galat kiya. Aur shayad main na kar paati, ya main utni large-hearted nahin hoon. Aaj ki aurat hoon. Agar mere husband ko kisi se pyaar hua hota toh main bolti – Bye, see you. Thank you very much. Have a good life”.

However, as soon as her video went viral on the internet, netizens started slamming the actress for being a hypocrite. The throwback video has irked netizens and attracted huge backlash from them. Some social media users also pointed out how Priyanka has always been the ‘other woman’ in her past relationships, taking a dig at her affairs with two already-married actors, Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar.
Reacting to the throwback video, one user penned, "Just call her narcissist and be done na. Pick me are not this hypocrite. She will adopt whatever label that benefits her most." Meanwhile, another user pointed out how Priyanka ruined Gauri Khan's marriage with Shah Rukh Khan and wrote, "She played Gauri’s role very well in Bajirao Mastani." Not just this, a third netizen also took a dig at PC's controversial remarks and commented:
"She never sticks to her statements. I mean in another interview she said she'd give a second chance to her man if he cheated on her because she believes in forgiveness and that people do change narrative and here she's throwing a dig at Gauri".
