We recently came across a clip from one of PeeCee’s interviews. In the short clip, she conversed with the American singer-actress, Jennifer Hudson, on the show, The Jennifer Hudson Show. Priyanka Chopra gave a very witty reply when she was asked, “Would you rather ask your ex or a total stranger for a favour?” Priyanka immediately replied, “A stranger”, further adding a reason behind her response. Jennifer was quite surprised by her answer to the question, and she appreciated the clever reply of the actress. She mentioned that it was rather a well-said statement. Priyanka further said:
“I don't read my books backwards. I like to go to the next chapter, not to the previous one, because I know the story, you know.”

Priyanka and Jennifer Hudson mostly talked about the former's latest projects and her life after her marriage to Nick Jonas on the same episode which aired in May 2023. The former even disclosed that her now-in-laws have watched her win the Miss World 2000 pageant. Priyanka Chopra participated in the Miss India competition in 2000 and emerged as the winner. Her victory in the competition opened doors of opportunities for her as she went on to win the Miss World title. This achievement completely changed her life. After her win, she entered Bollywood and has been one of the most successful stars in the industry.
During her conversation with Jennifer, Priyanka revealed that her in-laws, the Jonas family, had watched her win the Miss World title. The 41-year-old actress shared that her mother-in-law, Denis Miller Jonas, had told her that the Jonas family had watched her win the Miss World pageant in 2000. Priyanka further added:
"My mother-in-law was like, 'I remember watching you when you won.' I was like, 'There's no way,' and she was like, 'I remember it so clearly because it was November, Nick was on some Broadway show at seven years old, his brother was on some Broadway show at 8 or 9. And she said, 'I remember this clearly because Kevin Sr.,' my father-in-law, 'loves watching pageants. And he, I remember, was watching it, and Nick came and sat down and watched you win.'"
