Power couple, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas had embraced parenthood by welcoming their first baby via surrogacy, and currently, they are basking in the glory of the new chapter of their lives. The couple had a challenging time since the baby was born premature, and they had to wait for long to hold their baby in their arms. Though Nick and Priyanka have not yet revealed the gender of their child, however, as per multiple media reports, the couple is blessed with a baby girl, and they have named her Malti Marie Chopra Jonas.
For the unversed, it was on January 22, 2022, when Priyanka Chopra Jonas and her husband, Nick Jonas had announced the birth of their first child on their respective IG handles. The couple had shared a picture message revealing that they had welcomed a baby via surrogacy and had requested privacy from everyone so that their family could celebrate the occasion. Their note could be read as:
"We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much."

A few moments back, taking to her IG handle, Priyanka Chopra Jonas shared the first-ever family picture with her newborn, Malti. In the adorable picture, we can see the newbie parents, Priyanka and Nick, posing for the lens as they held their baby girl in their arms. The little munchkin looked cute as a button in a pastel-coloured tulle dress paired with a headband. The picture was too cute for words, and we are obsessed with it. Sharing it, Priyanka penned a long note, which can be read as:
“On this Mother's Day we can't help but reflect on these last few months and the rollercoaster we've been on, which we now know, so many people have also experienced. After 100 plus days in the NICU, our little girl is finally home. Every family's journey is unique and requires a certain level of faith, and while ours was a challenging few months, what becomes abundantly clear, in retrospect, is how precious and perfect every moment is."
Further in her note, Priyanka Chopra thanked the doctors, nurses and caretakers, who have selflessly been there for them and their daughter. She also shared her happiness as she embarked on a new journey as a mommy with her newborn and added that their baby is a badass. Thanking her hubby, Nick for making her a mama, the actress added:
"We are overjoyed that our little girl is finally home, and just want to thank every Doctor, nurse and specialist at Rady Children's La Jolla and Cedar Sinai, Los Angeles, who were there selflessly every step of the way. Our next chapter begins now, and our baby is truly a badass. Let's get it MM! Mommy and Daddy love you. Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers and caretakers in my life and out there. You make it look so easy. Thank you. Also.. there is no one I'd rather do this with than you. Thank you for making me a mama @nickjonas I love you.”

Nick Jonas also shared the same picture on his IG handle to wish his amazing wife, Priyanka on her first Mother's Day. The doting hubby penned a long note, heaping praises on Priyanka and shared that he is grateful to be on this journey with her. His caption can be read as:
“Happy Mother's Day to all the incredible mothers and care takers out there, but I want to take a minute to say a special Mother's Day wish to my incredible wife @priyankachopra on her first Mother's Day. Babe, you inspire me and every way, and you are taking to this new role with such ease and steadiness. I am so grateful to be on this journey with you. You are already an incredible mother. Happy Mother's Day. I love you.”
