A little while back Priyanka and Nick shared their first-ever pictures from their Hindu and Christian wedding. Donning themselves in Ralph Lauren for their Christian wedding and Sabyasachi Mukherjee for their Hindu one, this couple surely wins the ‘gorgeousness of the millennium’ award! Don’t you feel so? Priyanka and Nick are hosting their first wedding reception in Delhi today (December 04, 2018) at the Taj Palace hotel in New Delhi. The bash today will see an amalgamation of all the big shots including people belonging to the business, politics and fashion world. Complementing each other in blue and ivory outfits, Nickyanka looked a million dollars! But that’s not all! Posing for shutterbugs, Priyanka and Nick indulged in a little PDA. The funniest part was as the couple were busy looking-in-love with each other, some shutterbugs shouted ‘Pose change’ which made the couple go crazy with laughter! Take a look at the video here:
A latest video which spread like wildfire on the internet shared a glimpse of one of the most memorable moments from this celeb couple’s life. Both Nick and Priyanka were all teary when the latter was walking down the isle and the former was waiting for his love to make her, his forever! Sharing details about her wedding with international magazine, People magazine, our now ‘videshi girl’ stated, “It was all tears. Priyanka and Nick’s wedding story at People magazine had it that PeeCee was holding a ‘bouquet of hyacinths and tuberoses designed by Jenya Flowers (NYC)’ while walking down the aisle. Sharing her experience about the same, Priyanka shared, “I could not hold it in. I think I was nervous and scared. But as soon as the curtains opened, and I saw his face it was just like everything settled and I knew I was making the best decision of my life.”
The newbie bride further shared, “Every girl dreams of being a princess on her wedding day. But I never had a plan about what I wanted it to be.” The gorgeousness had two different types of weddings. Speaking about the same, she revealed, “Being able to have two big weddings, in India, with our closest family and friends was unbelievably special. I love that our wedding was a religious mash-up. We took beautiful traditions that we both grew up with and personalized them in a way that made sense for us. It’s been incredible to find the commonalities between our beliefs and figuring out how to blend them in a respectful and meaningful way.”
In an interview sometime back, Nick spoke about his relationship with Priyanka and stated, “We met through a mutual friend who she did Quantico with, this guy Graham and we met up like in New York the first time and the same day I think we found out that we are both going to the MET gala with Ralph Lauren. And as strange as it sounds but we couldn't have planned it. We just had a great time. She's a lovely person and I'm dying now to go to India”. On the other hand, People.com quoted Priyanka as saying, “We’re getting to know each other, and I think it [coming to India] was a great experience for him”.
Priyanka’s mommy, Madhu Chopra, later on, got to know Nick better and her opinion was quite positive! In an interview with Zoomtv.com, Madhu Chopra shared about the quintessential requirement in a perfect marriage. She referred to her own wedding to late Ashok Chopra and stated that ‘a marriage should be built brick by brick and every day should be like Valentines Day’. (Must Checkout! In the interview, she further said that "the husband should be qualified enough to take care of his wife in health and happiness". Speaking of her own marriage, she added that "they don't argue or fight but sit and listen to each other's point of view. This is the perfect wedding lesson for the newly- engaged couple." And concluded by saying that "these lessons have been instilled in Priyanka since a very young age".
